AXYON — Intelligent Automated Trading for Gold

AXYON is an automated Expert Advisor (EA) developed exclusively for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. It uses a trained analytical intelligence model to evaluate dozens of market variables before making any trading decision.

Unlike strategies that rely on just one or two technical indicators, AXYON simultaneously analyzes price behavior, market structure, trend direction, momentum strength, volatility, and trading session dynamics.

Its objective is to identify BUY and SELL opportunities through systematic and disciplined analysis, without relying on emotional decision-making.

HOW DOES AXYON MAKE TRADING DECISIONS?

At the close of every M15 candle, the system answers three fundamental questions:

1. What is the current market environment?

AXYON examines price structure, recent candlestick behavior, and the prevailing market direction. In total, 136 market features are calculated using Gold's recent price history.

2. Is there enough strength to justify an entry?

Not every price movement represents a trading opportunity. Two independent models, one specialized in BUY signals and the other in SELL signals, evaluate momentum, movement intensity, and multiple confirmation factors.

Each model generates a score, and a trade is only considered when that score exceeds the minimum confidence threshold.

3. Are market conditions suitable for trading?

Before execution, AXYON checks the spread, volatility, available margin, trading hours, and proximity to high-impact economic news.

If any required condition is not met, the entry is blocked.

FROM ANALYSIS TO DECISION

After combining all the information, the system makes one of three decisions:

  • BUY: Open a buy position when bullish criteria are satisfied.

  • SELL: Open a sell position when bearish criteria are satisfied.

  • WAIT: Stay out of the market when sufficient confirmation is not available.

AXYON does not need to trade constantly. Waiting is also part of the strategy.

TRADE MANAGEMENT

  • Every trade is opened with predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.

  • SL and TP levels are calculated using volatility (ATR), adapting to both calm and volatile market conditions.

  • If a trade reaches neither its SL nor its TP within 6 hours, it is automatically closed based on time.

  • Trading signals are generated only from closed candles. AXYON does not repaint.

00 | OPERATING MODE

  • Trading Mode: LIVE sends real orders to the broker. AXYON SIM uses real market prices with a virtual balance and does not send orders.

  • AXYON SIM Initial Balance: Initial virtual account balance (default: 1000).

  • Reset AXYON SIM Account on Start: Resets the virtual account to its initial balance.

01 | CAPITAL MODEL

  • Risk Mode: 0 = Fixed lot size; 1 = Percentage of equity (default).

  • Equity allocation per setup (%): Risk allocation per trade in percentage mode (default: 1.0%).

  • Constant-volume reference: Lot size used in fixed-lot mode (default: 0.10).

  • Maximum margin allocation (%): Maximum permitted margin usage (default: 85%).

02 | EXECUTION PROTECTION

  • Automated execution: Enables or disables automated trading.

  • Strategy identifier (Magic Number): Identifies AXYON trades. Use a different number for each chart.

  • Spread tolerance (price): Maximum allowed spread for opening a trade (default: 1.5).

  • Fill tolerance (points): Maximum accepted execution slippage (default: 30).

  • Friday entry pause: Blocks new trade entries on Fridays.

03 | BROKER SERVER TIME / DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME

  • Broker DST profile: Broker daylight saving time rule (US/FX, EU, or no DST).

  • Winter UTC offset: Broker server time offset during winter (e.g., UTC+2 = 2).

  • Summer UTC offset: Broker server time offset during summer (e.g., UTC+3 = 3).

04 | NEWS PROTECTION

  • Economic Calendar filter: Enables or disables the economic news filter (LIVE mode).

  • Block before news (minutes): Pauses new entries before an economic news event (default: 60).

  • Block after news (minutes): Pauses new entries after an economic news event (default: 60).

  • Minimum news importance: Minimum importance level of news events considered (default: High).

05 | CHART STYLE

  • Apply AXYON candle palette: Applies the AXYON chart theme.

  • Chart background preset: AXYON (Black & Gold), Obsidian, Midnight, or Slate.

  • Bull candle / Bear candle: Colors for bullish and bearish candlesticks.

  • Price tracking line: Displays the current market price line.

  • Entry / SL / TP levels: Displays trade entry, Stop Loss, and Take Profit levels on the chart.

  • Economic news line: Displays a line marking the next scheduled economic news event.
