Zyvra Gold is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 specifically developed to trade XAUUSD (Gold).

About Zyvra Gold

Zyvra Gold analyzes recent market structure and relevant liquidity levels to identify potential breakout and continuation opportunities on Gold.

The EA first determines the market bias from structure breaks (BOS / MSS). It then looks for the nearest unbroken swing level in the direction of that bias and places a single pending Stop order beyond it. The order is updated as the market evolves and removed when conditions are no longer valid.

The EA manages one trade at a time, with no overlapping positions.

Stop Loss, Take Profit and Trailing

Every trade opens with a defined Stop Loss and Take Profit, set automatically from the entry price.

Once the trade moves into profit, the EA locks in the position and then manages it with a stepped trailing stop to protect open profit.

No Grid or Martingale

Zyvra Gold does not use martingale, recovery grids, loss averaging, or progressive lot increases as recovery methods.

Risk Management

Two position-sizing modes are available:

Fixed lot.
Automatic lot based on a risk percentage of the account balance.

The EA also checks available margin before placing each order.

Execution Protection

Zyvra Gold includes controls designed to handle different market execution conditions:

High-spread protection.
Slippage control.
Order validation.
Available-margin checks.
Broker Stop Level and Freeze Level protection.
Automatic pending-order updates and cleanup.

These protections help the EA avoid trades when execution conditions do not meet the configured requirements. For this reason, low-spread ECN accounts are recommended.

News and Trading Hours Protection

The EA includes an optional news filter for high-impact USD economic events, with configurable pause times before and after each release.

The filter uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar, so it is not available in the Strategy Tester.

It also includes:

Configurable trading sessions based on broker server time.
No new orders late on Fridays or during the weekend.
Pauses around major US holidays.
A pause during the year-end period.

Execution Conditions

Execution conditions, including spread, commission, slippage, liquidity, leverage, margin, Stop Level, and Freeze Level, can affect the results of any Expert Advisor.

Account conditions and execution quality should be taken into consideration when evaluating performance.

Results obtained on one account may differ from those obtained on a demo account, in backtesting, or on another account with different execution conditions.

Installation and Backtesting

Open the MetaTrader 5 Market, install Zyvra Gold, attach it to XAUUSD on H1, and enable Algo Trading.

It is recommended to start with the default configuration and adjust only the lot size or risk percentage according to the account size.

For more representative backtests, use test data and conditions as close as possible to those of the account where the EA will be used, including spread, commission, leverage, and balance.

Testing the EA on a demo account before using real funds is recommended.

Zyvra Gold is free. Updates are free for all users. Support is provided through the comments section or private messages on MQL5.
