Stop Guessing Which Round Number Will Hold
Retail traders understand that round numbers matter, yet trading them remains consistently challenging. As price approaches a key psychological level, determining whether the level will hold or fail often leads to costly errors. Traders frequently buy prematurely expecting an immediate bounce, only to absorb a liquidity sweep through the level. Others sell expecting a rejection and get caught on the wrong side of a sustained breakout. Extended wicks regularly sweep key levels to clear stop orders before directional rotation begins, leaving traders hesitant when genuine opportunities appear. The underlying difficulty is not recognizing psychological levels, but objectively confirming which tests develop into authentic reversals.
PsychLevelBounce is engineered to make psychological levels systematic and actionable directly on the chart. The algorithm maps key whole-number zones and confirms the precise moment directional momentum rejects the level. Rather than anticipating boundary reactions or reacting to unconfirmed tests, traders receive clear visual confirmation once price reasserts control in the reversal direction. False breaks and low-conviction consolidation chop are filtered out, keeping attention centered on high-probability inflection points backed by structural momentum.

- A dominant bearish expansion candle shows selling strength and confirms clear rejection from the psychological resistance zone.
- The indicator confirms the rejection upon candle close and places a sell signal arrow.
- Execution occurs at the open of the subsequent bar.
Structural Stop Loss Placement:
- The indicator automatically projects a protective Stop Loss reference positioned outside the recent structural swing extreme.
- A built-in volatility buffer provides additional distance beyond key pivots to accommodate normal spread variations and short-term market noise.
4 Configurable Profit Targets:
The indicator projects four structured risk-to-reward (R-multiple) levels:
- TP1 (0.5R): Initial objective configured for early partial scale-outs on immediate momentum follow-through.
- TP2 (0.8R): Intermediate milestone capturing standard continuation swings.

- Limits rapid BUY/SELL flip-flopping in tight consolidation ranges.
- Restricts new same-direction signals while a prior setup is still active.
- Requires a minimum R-distance before the next signal can trigger.
On-Chart Historical Backtest Panel
A built-in panel summarizes how signals performed on historical data for the current settings:
- Historical hit-rate breakdown across TP1, TP2, TP3, and TP4.
- Sample size shown for the configured lookback period.
- Highlights which TP level had the best historical hit-rate for that sample.
