ParaTrend Navigator is a fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor built around a classic, well-tested trend-following combination: the Parabolic SAR indicator for entry timing, filtered by the ADX indicator for trend strength confirmation.
The EA waits for the Parabolic SAR dot to flip from one side of price to the other, which signals a potential change in short-term direction. Instead of acting on every flip, it checks the ADX value first: a trade is only opened when ADX is above your chosen threshold, meaning the market is actually trending rather than moving sideways. This simple filter is designed to reduce the number of false signals and whipsaws that a raw SAR-only system would take in choppy conditions.

- SAR Step / SAR Maximum - standard Parabolic SAR acceleration settings
- ADX Period - averaging period for the ADX indicator
- ADX Threshold - minimum ADX value required before a signal is taken
- ATR Period - averaging period for the ATR indicator used in risk sizing
- Stop Loss (ATR multiple) - Stop Loss distance expressed as a multiple of ATR
- Take Profit (ATR multiple) - Take Profit distance expressed as a multiple of ATR
- Lot Size - fixed trade volume
- Use Trailing Stop - enables or disables the trailing stop module
- Trail Start (ATR multiple) - profit required, in ATR multiples, before trailing begins
- Trail Step (ATR multiple) - trailing distance behind price, in ATR multiples
