The "New Author" Myth vs. Algorithmic Reality
In trading, tenure is not a hedge. Many traders fall into the "Legacy Trap"—trusting old names whose systems were built for a market that no longer exists.
A new name isn't a risk; it’s a technological upgrade. - Version: 1.50

I will send you the PDF setup guide, recommended settings, complete installation instructions, risk configuration recommendations, latest update information, and a detailed explanation of the trading system structure.
This will help you install the EA correctly, select the appropriate risk mode, and better understand the system’s trading logic, account protection model, and multi-engine architecture.
The Silent Investor EA is a fully automated trading system developed specifically for Gold — XAUUSD.
The system combines three independent trading engines inside one Expert Advisor. Each engine follows its own market logic and focuses on a different type of Gold behavior: structural breakouts, volatility bursts and local price reactions.
The Silent Investor EA was created for traders who prefer structured automation, predefined risk per position, transparent account protection and clean execution without martingale, grid or uncontrolled averaging logic.
The Silent Investor Concept
Most Gold trading robots are built to chase movement.
The Silent Investor EA was built differently.
The system does not try to open trades all the time. It waits for specific market conditions where one of its internal engines finds a valid opportunity. If the setup is not strong enough, the EA simply stays out of the market.
This approach is designed to reduce emotional decisions and keep the trading process inside a predefined algorithmic structure.
Historical Audit
The Silent Investor EA was tested on IC Markets Global real tick data from 2016 to 2026, using real spreads, commissions and simulated slippage.
Audit period: 2016.01.26 – 2026.09.01.
In the tested configuration, the system closed 11 out of 11 calendar years in net profit.
The conservative fixed-lot audit used 0.01 lot and covered 10.6 years of historical data. The maximum historical drawdown was 2.25%, equal to $300.46 on a $10,000 baseline. The system closed 1,693 positions with a 64.8% win rate and a Profit Factor of 1.43. Gross profit was $12,872, while gross loss was $9,002. The Sortino Ratio was 3.27, the annualized Sharpe Ratio was 1.48, and the Calmar Ratio was 1.91.
Historical testing is analytical material. It helps users understand how the system behaved on past market data, but it does not guarantee future results.
Multi-Engine Architecture
The Silent Investor EA operates on one XAUUSD M15 chart and runs three independent trading engines at the same time.
This creates a portfolio-style structure inside one EA, where different engines can work with different types of market behavior instead of relying on one single entry model.
Engine A — Structural H8/M30 Fractal Breakout
Engine A is the main structural breakout component of the portfolio.
It identifies confirmed support and resistance pivots and enters the market through pending stop orders after momentum confirmation.
In the tested portfolio, Engine A generated 69.7% of the total portfolio profit with a historical win rate of 64.6%.
Engine B — Micro-Impulse Volatility Burst
Engine B focuses on short volatility expansions in Gold.
It monitors unusual ATR range expansion on the M15 timeframe and looks for fast momentum breakout conditions.
In the tested portfolio, Engine B generated 16.5% of the total portfolio profit with a historical win rate of 64.4%.
Engine C — High-Precision Pivot Scalper
Engine C is a local reaction and exhaustion engine.
It works with localized price extremes and attempts to capture shorter market reactions from specific zones.
In the tested portfolio, Engine C generated 13.8% of the total portfolio profit with a historical win rate of 73.0%.
Risk First
The Silent Investor EA does not use martingale.
It does not use grid.
It does not use unlimited averaging.
Every position is opened with its own predefined stop loss. The system can trade with a fixed lot or with a calculated risk percentage, depending on the selected risk profile.
The purpose of this structure is simple: every trade must stay inside a defined risk model.
Risk Guard Protection
The EA includes a built-in Risk Guard subsystem for account protection.
Risk Guard can monitor the daily loss limit, total drawdown limit from peak equity, equity target, minimum equity floor and closing of open trades when a protection limit is triggered.
This can be useful for traders who need strict account exposure control, including prop-firm style environments, provided that the user configures the limits according to the rules of the specific firm.
Native MQL5 Code
The Silent Investor EA is built with native MQL5 code.
It does not require external DLL files, Python runtime, external libraries or web requests.
The EA works directly inside MetaTrader 5 and is suitable for standard Windows VPS environments.
Interactive Dashboard
The EA includes a visual dashboard directly on the chart.
The dashboard can display balance, equity, floating spread, Risk Guard status, performance curve, system state, trading zones, engine labels and profit/loss information.
The goal of the dashboard is to make system monitoring clear and simple without forcing the trader to inspect multiple terminal windows.
State Persistence
Important protection values are stored through MetaTrader 5 global variables.
This includes daily baselines and peak equity levels.
If the terminal restarts or the VPS is rebooted, the protection logic is designed to preserve important reference values instead of resetting the daily loss counter or disabling account protection.

Factory Presets

1 - Silent Investor DEFAULT.set
This is the Dynamic Adaptive profile.
Market scale adaptation: Auto.
In this mode, stop-loss and take-profit distances scale through a non-linear volatility formula relative to the current Gold price level.
This profile is designed for adaptive behavior across different Gold market conditions.
2 - Silent Investor COMPACT.set
This is the Precision Static profile.
Market scale adaptation: Off.
In this mode, the EA uses fixed classical distances optimized for more conservative swing and range environments.
Main Input Parameters
Market scale adaptation controls how the EA adjusts distance levels to the current Gold market scale.
Auto adapts distances to the current market level using non-linear volatility scaling.
Off keeps distances fixed.
Risk profile controls position sizing. Available profiles include Off, Prop firm, Conservative, Balanced, Dynamic, Aggressive and Maximum.
Off uses the fixed lot value. Prop firm uses 0.5% risk per trade. Conservative uses 1% risk per trade. Balanced uses 2% risk per trade. Dynamic uses 3% risk per trade. Aggressive uses 6% risk per trade. Maximum uses 10% risk per trade and is intended only for demonstration or extreme-risk testing.
Fixed lot defines the trade volume when Risk profile is set to Off.
Maximum lot per trade sets a hard cap on the volume of one order.
Size risk from equity instead of balance allows the EA to calculate risk from equity instead of balance.
Account Protection
Daily loss limit sets the maximum daily loss as a percentage of day-start equity.
Total drawdown limit sets the maximum drawdown as a percentage from peak equity.
Stop at equity target stops trading when the selected equity target is reached.
Stop below equity stops trading if equity falls below the selected level.
Close open trades when a limit triggers allows the EA to close active positions when a protection limit is triggered.
Filters
The EA can skip new entries when the spread is too wide.
The user can set a maximum allowed spread for new entries.
The system can also restrict trading to a selected session based on broker server time.
Weekday switches allow trading to be enabled or disabled from Monday to Friday.

I’ve been using The Silent Investor EA for a while now, and honestly, I’m very happy with it. In my case, it’s giving me very good results and, above all, it has really, really good profitability, which is something I personally value a lot in an EA. It’s true that it has had a small loss recently, but I think that’s completely normal with any trading system. What really matters is the overall performance, and so far my experience has been very positive. I also want to highlight the author, because besides creating an EA that I really like, she is very kind, helpful, and always responds to questions. For me, this is very important, and it’s great to have such good support from the person behind the EA. I’ve tried other EAs from this author as well, and honestly, this is one of the best she has, if not the best. I’m very happy with my purchase and with the profitability I’m getting from it. Based on my experience, I highly recommend it. Great EA, very good profitability, and an author who is always there to support her users. I hope to keep using it for a long time. 👍
