SET FILES READY! (download SETFILES)
Prismatic Talon Diversified Three is a Triple Tested MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor configured as one account-level portfolio across XAGUSD (silver), EURJPY and USDJPY.
We evaluated the same three-market configuration using small, medium and large broker datasets to check whether the strategy remained viable beyond a single price history. Different broker recordings produced different trades and outcomes, which is why cross-broker testing matters.
Attach one copy of the Expert Advisor to each chart and load the supplied preset for that market. The account carries the combined risk of all three charts. Do not size each chart as if it were a separate account.
Recommended charts
- XAGUSD, M15: preset TalonV2 XAGUSD M15
- EURJPY, M15: preset TalonV2 EURJPY M15
- USDJPY, M5: preset TalonV2 USDJPY M5
EURJPY and USDJPY both carry yen exposure and can respond to the same currency move. Treat the three positions as one account-level risk budget.
What the strategy does
The Expert Advisor looks for an extended market condition, then waits for price-rejection confirmation before entering. Each position opens with a stop loss and profit target. A single Risk Scale input controls a volatility-adjusted position-sizing formula. The Expert Advisor manages open trades after entry.
Trade frequency changes with market conditions. Quiet periods, overnight holds, win streaks and consecutive losses can occur.
Risk controls
- Every position has a hard stop loss.
- The recommended settings do not increase lot size after a loss.
- The code contains a disabled martingale path. Its multiplier remains fixed at 1.0, and buyers cannot enable it through an input.
- The Expert Advisor does not use grid trading or average into losing positions.
- Risk Scale 100 is the validated profile used in the studies below. Risk Scale 50 halves the sizing profile.
Stops are requests rather than guarantees. Gaps, slippage, spread, commission, contract specifications and symbol mapping can change execution.
Live reference
A real-money reference account is published through MQL5 Signals:
https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/2391308
The account is new and the trade count remains small. MQL5 warns that the sample is too small to evaluate and that early results may be random. Use the account to review fills, holding periods and current behavior. Do not treat it as proof of the historical study.
As observed on 15 September 2026, the early live sample showed an average holding period in the half-day to overnight range. The sample remains too small to establish a stable pattern.
After purchase, send an MQL5 message or post in the product comments. Presets and later setting updates remain on MQL5. There is no Telegram or WhatsApp group to join.
Why these three markets
We compared a larger set of markets and retained this three-market combination because its historical drawdown episodes overlapped less often than the alternatives we reviewed.
The study measured Pearson correlation between drawdown depths on common five-minute observations. The selected pairwise results were:
- XAGUSD and EURJPY: 0.15 on Feed A and 0.05 on Feed B
- XAGUSD and USDJPY: 0.00 on Feed A and 0.26 on Feed B
- EURJPY and USDJPY: -0.04 on Feed A and -0.28 on Feed B
These are correlations of historical drawdown depth, not return correlations. Low historical correlation does not promise that the markets will remain independent or protect one another from future losses. EURJPY and USDJPY still share yen exposure.
How to read the evidence
The listing presents three distinct forms of evidence:
- Historical portfolio research using small, medium and large broker datasets
- MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester runs using the supplied presets
- The live MQL5 signal
None is a forecast.
Triple Tested historical study
Study period: 1 January 2022 through 23 August 2026.
Method: separate simulations for the three markets, combined using equal starting-capital sleeves. The combined study begins with $20,000 unless a screenshot states otherwise.
The medium and large broker studies use full marked equity, including floating profit and loss:
- Feed A, medium broker tick history: 131.23% total return, 19.78% annualized return and 9.48% maximum event-equity drawdown
- Feed B, large broker tick history: 106.66% total return, 16.92% annualized return and 10.16% maximum event-equity drawdown
The small-broker study is a legacy daily-balance proxy built on a different tick foundation. Its source contained 34% real ticks. It provides an additional portability check but is not directly equivalent to the two full-equity studies.
These figures come from Strategy Tester runs and a reconstructed portfolio at the tested settings. They are not expected returns or drawdown limits. Triple Tested checks portability across different broker histories, but it cannot ensure identical results or suitability for every customer.
The combined study does not reproduce shared-account margin, broker execution or live fills.
The partial 2026 period illustrates both the intended diversification and its limits. Silver gained 11.20% on Feed A and 12.76% on Feed B, while both yen pairs lost:
- EURJPY: -6.09% on Feed A and -6.67% on Feed B
- USDJPY: -7.36% on Feed A and -7.69% on Feed B
The combined portfolio still lost 1.70% on Feed A and 1.86% on Feed B during that partial period. One market can offset part of another market's loss without preventing a losing portfolio period. That result is part of the strategy profile.
What users should expect
- Overnight positions can occur.
- Both winning streaks and consecutive losses can occur.
- In the tested configuration, the average winning trade exceeded the average losing trade. Future results may differ.
- Losing days, losing months and drawdowns larger than those in the study can occur.
How to test before buying
Download the Market demo. In the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, load the documented presets and test them on your broker's data. Compare the results with your broker's history, spread and commission.
The Market demo operates in the Strategy Tester. It does not trade a live account.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5
- Hedging and netting accounts are supported. Confirm your broker's contract specifications for silver and the JPY crosses.
- A VPS is recommended so all three charts remain active.
- The recommended symbols and timeframes appear above. The Expert Advisor is not limited to those symbols in the Market validation environment.
Support
Use MQL5 messages or the product comments for setup help and the current presets.
Risk notice
Trading foreign exchange, metals and CFDs involves substantial risk of loss. Past results, backtests, reconstructed portfolios and the live signal do not guarantee future results. Results vary with broker conditions and settings. Trade only with capital you can afford to lose.
