Substantial Shifts is a market structure indicator for MetaTrader 5 designed to help traders visualize meaningful structural changes in price movement through a clean and focused chart environment.
The indicator continuously analyzes developing price structure using its proprietary internal engine and highlights selected Breakout and Breakdown shifts directly on the main chart.
Rather than functioning as a conventional entry-signal indicator, Substantial Shifts is designed to provide structural context. It helps traders observe where meaningful changes in market structure have occurred and incorporate that information into their own trading methodology.

Understanding Substantial Shifts
Markets rarely move in a perfectly continuous direction. Price expands, consolidates, reacts, breaks previous structures, and develops new ones.
Substantial Shifts is designed to make selected structural developments easier to recognize.
A Breakout identifies a bullish structural development recognized by the internal engine, while a Breakdown represents its bearish counterpart. The corresponding lines provide a visual reference to the structure associated with each event.
These elements are intended to help traders study the evolving relationship between current price and previously established market structure.
How It Can Be Used
Substantial Shifts can complement different discretionary and systematic approaches. Traders may use the structural information to assist with:
