Odyssey BTC SMC — an automated trading Expert Advisor for BTCUSD on MetaTrader 5.

The algorithm is based on Smart Money Concepts (SMC) — analysis of market structure, impulses, liquidity, and price reaction in key areas. The system is designed to evaluate the overall market context rather than relying on a single candle or isolated signal.

Before opening a trade, the Expert Advisor analyzes price direction, position relative to EMA, candle strength and size, current volatility, volume, local market structure, and price behavior around important levels.

The algorithm is designed to avoid entries during unfavorable market conditions. It may skip trades during consolidation, after an excessively strong impulse, during low volatility, near important daily and weekly levels, or when the potential entry risk becomes too large.

BUY and SELL trades use separate conditions. The Expert Advisor considers both trend movements and market recovery after strong upward or downward moves. It also analyzes price reactions after liquidity sweeps, changes in local market structure, and price behavior around EMA levels on M15 and H1.

Special attention is given to risk management. Stop Loss is calculated according to the current market structure and trading conditions. Depending on the situation, it may be placed behind a local high or low, behind an impulse or high-volume candle, or with an additional ATR-based buffer.

The Expert Advisor also monitors the initial Stop Loss distance and may reject a trade if the potential risk does not meet the system's requirements.

Take Profit is set automatically. After the position moves into profit, the Expert Advisor may move the Stop Loss closer to the entry price and use breakeven protection to reduce the risk of an open position.

The system also uses additional time filters. During certain periods, new trade entries may be temporarily disabled. In live trading, the Expert Advisor automatically accounts for the broker's server time and adjusts its trading time windows accordingly.

The Expert Advisor works directly with the chart symbol, allowing it to be used with brokers that use different names for their Bitcoin instrument.
