MA Distance Reversion Zones
Mean reversion indicator for MetaTrader 5 — works on any symbol and any timeframe.
It measures how far price moves away from a moving average on every candle and uses that distance, calculated statistically (z-score), to identify zones of movement exhaustion — areas where price tends to snap back toward the average. This makes the indicator useful for spotting market tops and bottoms, flagging the points where momentum has faded and a reversal becomes more likely.
Key features:
📊 Configurable moving average — choose the period, method (SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA), and applied price.
📈 Dynamic extreme bands — calculated from the standard deviation of the distance, automatically adapting to the asset's volatility. No fixed bands that only work on one specific market.
🎯 Candle-by-candle distance marking — every bar gets a color-coded marker (normal / extended / extreme), giving a real-time visual read on how stretched price is.
🔝🔻 Top and bottom detection — signal arrows mark exactly the points where price, after reaching an extreme (top or bottom), starts reverting back toward the average.
⚙️ Fully customizable — adjust the sensitivity thresholds to calibrate the indicator for any asset (stocks, indices, currencies, crypto) and any timeframe (from M1 to monthly).
🔊 Optional alerts so you never miss a signal.
Ideal for traders running mean-reversion strategies who want to visually spot high-probability reversal points without extra effort.
