Golden Liquidity Edge

Golden Liquidity Edge is a chart-window MetaTrader 5 indicator. It flags bars where price briefly crosses a recent swing high or low and then closes back inside the range with a rejection-shaped profile. It is aimed at volatile symbols such as gold (XAUUSD), often on H1, and can be used on other symbols and timeframes. The logic is pattern and level oriented; it is not an oscillator and does not use volume.

A Market trial build runs in the Strategy Tester before purchase, under the service rules shown in your terminal.

What you receive

  • Confirmed buy and sell arrows after the signal bar closes
  • Optional early hints on the forming bar until the close
  • Optional entry, stop loss, and two take-profit lines plus optional sweep zone shading
  • Terminal popup, push, and email alerts with separate early-alert control
  • Four buffers for Expert Advisor integration

Trading idea in brief

The tool does not predict trend by itself. It compares the bar to a swing extreme from a lookback window, checks wick penetration in points, and applies wick ratio filters plus an optional directional close rule. Signals are throttled in time and by a points tolerance near the last sweep so similar zones do not spam. Past patterns do not guarantee future outcomes.

Graphic objects

Levels and zones use chart object names starting with GOLDEN_LIQ_EDGE. They are deleted when the indicator is removed. Optional historical mode keeps short segments per past signal for review.

Inputs

Detection sets lookback, min and max sweep in points, wick ratios, and optional directional close. Signals set confirmed and early visibility, spacing, and zone tolerance. Trade levels set drawing, stop buffer, two risk-reward targets, extension length, and historical debug options. Alerts set popup, push, and mail. Visuals set colours.

Buffers

  • 0 confirmed buy, 1 confirmed sell, 2 early buy, 3 early sell

Use confirmed buffers on the last completed bar for non-repainting logic. Early buffers are for live discretion only.

Limits

  • Early plots can change until the bar closes
  • Lines are planning aids; validate spread and broker stop rules
  • Heavy historical object drawing can add load on slower PCs
