GoldApex Multi-Horizon Scalper is a precision-engineered Expert Advisor designed exclusively for XAU/USD, combining a top-down multi-timeframe confluence framework with a dynamic breakout-and-pullback entry model. The system reads macro directional bias from the 4-hour and 1-hour timeframes using dual EMA alignment, then descends to the 15-minute chart to map active support and resistance boundaries. Entry is reserved for confirmed breakouts of those boundaries followed by a controlled retest on the 5-minute chart — capturing only the highest-probability continuation moves while filtering out false breaks and noise-driven spikes.

Session logic restricts trading to the London and New York windows, where XAU/USD liquidity and directional follow-through are statistically strongest. A risk-first architecture governs every trade: position size is calculated dynamically per the user-defined risk percentage, with adjustable stop loss and take profit, optional break-even automation, and a trailing stop mechanism that protects accumulated gains without capping upside prematurely.

Circuit breakers at the account level guard against adverse market conditions — consecutive loss limits halt activity after a configurable run of losses, a daily trade cap prevents overtrading, and a maximum daily drawdown threshold suspends the EA entirely until the next session.
