Validated backtest results 2022–2026 :

— Max Drawdown : 5.1%
— Recovery Factor : 17.53
— LR Correlation : 0.94
Automatic Break-Even : the SL moves into profit at +80 points, locking in +40 guaranteed points on every winning trade. This is the single biggest improvement in this version — win rate jumps from 39% to 65% from this optimization alone.
Smart ATR filter retained : the EA only trades when Gold volatility is sufficient. Fewer trades, better quality.
Major technical fixes : directional retrace logic corrected, pending order management improved, unified position tracking across partial closes.

HOW IT WORKS
The EA calculates the high and low of the last 24 H1 candles — Gold's daily range.
Two pending orders are placed just beyond the extremes :
— Buy Stop above the high
— Sell Stop below the low
When price breaks the range, the order triggers. Once in position :
— ATR filter : only trades when volatility is sufficient (ATR ≥ 1200 pts)
— Break-Even : SL moved to +40 pts profit once +80 pts gain is reached
— Fixed Take Profit : 500 points
— Fixed Stop Loss : 120 points
— Maximum trade duration : 48h
