HOW IT WORKS

The EA calculates the highest high and lowest low of the last 24 H1 candles to define the daily range. Two pending orders are placed just beyond the extremes: a Buy Stop above the high, a Sell Stop below the low. When price breaks out, the order triggers.

Once in a trade:

  • Break-even protection activates early to eliminate risk
  • Trailing stop locks in profits as the move extends
  • Fixed Take Profit at 500 points captures large breakout moves (~$5.00 on Gold)
  • Fixed Stop Loss at 90 points limits downside (~$0.90 on Gold)
  • Maximum trade duration: 48 hours (automatic time exit)

Average trade duration: under 30 seconds. The EA captures fast breakout momentum.

You only need to adjust two settings. Everything else is pre-optimized.

Position Sizing (adjust these):

  • Use Auto Lot Sizing: true (calculates lot size from balance)
  • Balance Per Lot: amount of balance per 0.01 lot (default 300 = conservative, ~13% max DD)
  • Maximum Lot Size: hard cap on position size (default 3.0)

Strategy parameters (do not change):

  • Bars to Lookback: 24 (24-hour range on H1)
  • Distance from Extreme: 5 points
  • Max Retrace: 80 points
  • Pending Expiration: 12 hours
  • Max Spread: 30 points
  • Fixed Take Profit: 500 points

  • Trailing Stop: 50 points (activates at 5, freezes at 100)

COMMENT CA FONCTIONNE

L'EA calcule le plus haut et le plus bas des 24 dernières bougies H1 pour définir le range journalier. Deux ordres pending sont placés juste au-delà des extrêmes : un Buy Stop au-dessus du plus haut, un Sell Stop en dessous du plus bas. Quand le prix casse le range, l'ordre se déclenche.

Une fois en position :

Le break-even s'active rapidement pour éliminer le risque Le trailing stop verrouille les profits au fil du mouvement Le Take Profit fixe à 500 points capture les grands mouvements de breakout (~5,00 $ sur l'Or) Le Stop Loss fixe à 90 points limite les pertes (~0,90 $ sur l'Or) Durée maximale d'un trade : 48 heures (sortie automatique) Durée moyenne d'un trade : moins de 30 secondes.
