Meta EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor for GBPUSD that uses an adaptive multi-regime detection system to identify the current market state and execute the appropriate strategy in real time. Unlike static EAs that use fixed rules, Meta EA continuously evaluates whether the market is trending, ranging, or volatile — and adapts its behavior accordingly. All internal parameters are updated monthly by the development team and delivered via version updates. No manual optimization required.

How It Works

The core engine runs three parallel adaptive filters simultaneously, each modeling a different market behavior. A Bayesian probability fusion algorithm combines their outputs every bar to determine which regime is dominant. The EA does not guess — it calculates the statistical probability of each regime and acts only when confidence exceeds calibrated thresholds.

Three Adaptive Strategies

Each regime activates a different trading approach:

• Strategy A — Trend Following: When the market shows strong directional momentum, the EA enters in the direction of the trend using crossover signals from the adaptive filter. Exits are managed by ATR-based stop loss and take profit levels.
• Strategy B — Mean Reversion: When the market is ranging, the EA identifies overextended price moves beyond the adaptive bands and fades them. A confirmation mechanism requires price to stay outside the band for multiple bars before entry, avoiding false signals during brief spikes.
• Strategy C — Volatile Guard: When uncertainty spikes and neither trend nor range is dominant, the EA closes all open positions immediately and goes flat. Capital protection takes priority. No new trades are opened until a clear regime re-emerges.

Only one strategy is active at any given time. The transition between strategies is fully automatic and driven by the probability engine.

Adaptive Risk Management

Stop loss and take profit levels are calculated dynamically using ATR (Average True Range). This means exits automatically widen during volatile periods and tighten during quiet periods. The default configuration uses 1.5x ATR for stop loss and 3.0x ATR for take profit, giving a base reward-to-risk ratio of 2:1. A minimum price floor is enforced to prevent unreasonably tight stops during low-volatility warmup periods.

Monthly Parameter Updates

Market dynamics evolve over time. Meta EA addresses this through monthly parameter updates delivered as new versions. Each month, the development team recalibrates the regime detection thresholds, transition probabilities, and noise parameters using the latest market data. You receive these updates automatically through the MQL5 Market update system. No action required on your part.

Trade Frequency

Meta EA trades on every bar of the timeframe you attach it to (H1 recommended). During trending markets, expect several trades per week. During ranging periods, mean reversion trades may occur less frequently. During high-volatility events, the EA may go flat for extended periods. This is by design — the Volatile Guard protects capital when conditions are uncertain.

Dashboard

A real-time dashboard displays the current regime (Trend, Mean-Reversion, or Volatile), the probability percentage of each model, account balance, equity, margin level, floating P&L, and all open positions. The dominant regime is color-coded: blue for trend, green for mean-reversion, red for volatile. This gives you full transparency into what the EA is doing and why.

Manual Control

One-click Close Buy, Close Sell and Close All buttons on the chart, each with confirmation dialog. You can also close positions directly through MT5 — the EA cleans up automatically.

Inputs

Lot Size (default 0.10), Magic Number (default 20260301), AI Voice Alert (default on). All regime detection parameters, strategy thresholds, and risk levels are internally calibrated and updated monthly. You only need to set your lot size.

Requirements

• Symbol: GBPUSD, any broker suffix, auto-detected.
• Timeframe: H1 recommended. The EA works on any timeframe but parameters are optimized for H1.
• Account: Hedge or Netting.
• Minimum deposit: $300 at 0.01 lot.
• Leverage: 1:100 or higher.
• VPS recommended for 24/5 operation.
