Liquidity Gaps — The Imbalance Move

There was a time I couldn’t sit through a quiet market. If nothing was moving, I felt like I was wasting time. So I’d force trades… random entries, weak setups, anything just to feel active. I’d tell myself, “I’ll just grab a quick one.” But those “quick ones” always turned into unnecessary losses. At the end of the day, I wasn’t tired from trading… I was tired from fighting the market.
What I didn’t understand back then is that not trading is part of trading. The best days I have now are often the ones where I do nothing for hours. I wait, I watch, and I let the market come to me.
