Active traders frequently encounter execution uncertainty when price creates an imbalance or gap on the chart. Seeing price jump sharply often leads to hesitation, causing traders to miss the initial trend continuation entirely. When price subsequently retraces toward the gap, determining whether the market will fill the void completely or reject firmly from the boundary creates a difficult dilemma.
