Active traders frequently encounter execution uncertainty when price creates an imbalance or gap on the chart. Seeing price jump sharply often leads to hesitation, causing traders to miss the initial trend continuation entirely. When price subsequently retraces toward the gap, determining whether the market will fill the void completely or reject firmly from the boundary creates a difficult dilemma. Traders are often shaken out by volatile wicks testing the gap perimeter before support solidifies, or they miss the continuation move entirely due to lacking clear confirmation at the structural boundary. The underlying issue is not the visibility of the gap, but the absence of an objective mechanism to trade its edges.
GapEdgeSupport is engineered to convert price gap boundaries into objective, actionable reference zones. The algorithm tracks price retracements toward established gap boundaries and validates the exact moment structural support or resistance holds and directional momentum reasserts itself.
