Gold H1 Trend Follow Expert
Gold H1 Trend Follow Expert is an automated trading system designed primarily for Gold (XAUUSD) on the H1 timeframe. The Expert Advisor focuses on identifying established market trends and entering trades only when multiple technical conditions confirm the same direction.
The strategy combines EMA trend analysis, ADX trend strength, Directional Indicators, RSI momentum confirmation and ATR-based risk management.
Trading Strategy
The EA evaluates signals using completed H1 candles to reduce the influence of temporary intrabar price movements.
BUY conditions:
- Price is above EMA 200
- EMA 50 is above EMA 200
- EMA 50 confirms an upward trend
- ADX confirms sufficient trend strength
- +DI is above -DI
- RSI confirms bullish momentum
SELL conditions:
- Price is below EMA 200
- EMA 50 is below EMA 200
- EMA 50 confirms a downward trend
- ADX confirms sufficient trend strength
- -DI is above +DI
- RSI confirms bearish momentum
Risk Management
The Expert Advisor includes:
- Percentage-based position sizing
- Optional fixed lot size
- Maximum lot limit
- ATR-based Stop Loss
- Risk/Reward-based Take Profit
- Optional ATR trailing stop
- Spread protection
- Broker stop-level protection
- Margin checks
The default risk setting is 0.50% of available free margin per trade.
A maximum lot limit is included. By default, MaxLot is set to 1.00, helping prevent excessively large positions on high-balance accounts.
Single Position Protection
The EA is designed to maintain only one position per symbol and Magic Number at a time.
If an existing EA position is open, a new BUY or SELL position will not be opened until the existing position is closed.
The strategy does not use Martingale, Grid, averaging-down or recovery systems.

Symbol Compatibility
The EA is designed primarily for Gold instruments such as XAUUSD and GOLD.
Broker symbol names may vary, for example XAUUSD, XAUUSDm, XAUUSD.cash or GOLD. The EA therefore does not require one specific broker symbol name by default.
