Golden Tiger is an Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) that applies a daily high/low breakout strategy. It detects the previous day’s range and places pending buy or sell stop orders with defined risk parameters. The EA includes stop loss, take profit, and a trailing stop feature.

Hey Herbert, thanks for your feedback. I understand it’s frustrating to experience a losing period. Golden Tiger EA, like any trading system, goes through drawdowns during certain market conditions. There isn’t a strategy that performs optimally at all times, and periods of lower performance are part of long term trading.
Over the past month, XAUUSD has been experiencing extreme volatility and unusually sharp price movements, largely driven by ongoing global tensions and uncertainty. We’ve seen rapid swings in both directions, including multi percent intraday moves and sudden reversals. This kind of environment can cause stop losses to be hit more frequently, even for well structured strategies. In such environments, it’s important to adapt risk accordingly, either by increasing stop loss to account for wider price swings, or reducing lot size to maintain proper risk management. That said, risk management and expectations play a big role in how these periods are experienced. If you’d like, I’m happy to help you review your settings or share some guidance on managing drawdowns more effectively.
