The AI Analysis Engine evaluates current market conditions online and is not available in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.

All published backtest results were generated without AI-assisted trading.

AI settings have no effect in the Strategy Tester.

Live trading with AI enabled may produce different trading decisions, execution patterns, and performance results compared with historical backtests.

HISTORICAL ECONOMIC CALENDAR

Published backtests used historical economic calendar data covering January 2025 – September 2026, allowing the EA to apply economic news filters and trading restrictions throughout the testing period.

The MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester cannot independently download the required historical news calendar during testing.

To prepare the calendar, the ShadowStrikeGoldEAMT5_DownloadFFCalendar helper can download historical economic events from January 2025 through the current available month and save them to the required ff_calendar.csv file.

WebRequest permission is required for the calendar download.

During live operation, the EA can refresh its economic calendar data automatically once per day.

Backtests performed before January 2025 run without the historical news filter and may produce significantly different results.

We strongly recommend evaluating ShadowStrikes Gold EA MT5 on a demo account before transitioning to live trading, particularly when enabling AI-assisted execution.
