Recommended setup

  • Symbol: XAUUSD or GOLD
  • Chart: load it on any chart or timeframe
  • Leverage: 1:500 or higher
  • Broker: a low-spread gold broker is recommended
  • VPS: recommended, so it runs 24/5 without your computer
  • Account type: hedging account for Higher volume mode. Normal mode works on any account type.
  • Balance: from $500. A larger balance gives the EA more room.

Setup

  1. Attach the EA to a XAUUSD or GOLD chart.
  2. Choose your risk profile: Low, Medium or High.
  3. Allow WebRequest for the news filter: Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest, then add  https://nfs.faireconomy.media/ff_calendar_thisweek.xml .
  4. Turn on Algo Trading. Done.
