LTS FX I is a grid Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, developed by Legacy Trading System. It combines a trend filter, a counter-trend filter and a set of account-level protections. It is designed for low-volatility cross pairs on the M5 timeframe.

How it works
- Trend entries: buys when price is above the moving average and the Stochastic is in the oversold area; sells when price is below the moving average and the Stochastic is in the overbought area.
- Counter-trend entries: trades extremes against the moving average only when the ADX shows a ranging market.
- Grid: if price moves against a basket, new levels are added at a fixed distance. In automatic mode the lot is the same on every level (no lot multiplication).
- Four independent baskets: buy-trend, sell-trend, buy-counter and sell-counter. Each basket has its own target and trailing.
- Basket exit: take profit measured from the basket's average price, plus trailing after a minimum profit.
- Filters for new levels: ADX filter (no new levels in strong trends) and speed filter (no entries during very fast moves).
- Market sessions: no orders are sent while the market is closed, for example during the daily rollover break.
Automatic configuration
The EA recognizes the symbol (broker suffixes such as .ecn are ignored) and loads the settings calibrated for that pair. You only choose the risk profile.
- Calibrated pairs: AUDCAD and EURGBP.
- Timeframe: M5.
- On a pair that is not calibrated, the EA does not trade on a live chart. In the Strategy Tester it runs with generic settings, so it can be tested on any symbol.

The lot grows with the balance. Example: with 7,000 USD on AUDCAD in the Conservative profile, the base lot is 0.02.
Account protections
- Daily loss limit: if the day's loss reaches the profile limit, all positions are closed and the EA pauses until the next business day.
- Monthly loss limit: if the month's loss reaches the profile limit, all positions are closed and the EA pauses until the next month.
- Hard stop: if equity falls by the profile percentage below the initial deposit, all positions are closed and the EA stays stopped until it is restarted manually.
- Basket maximum loss: closes a single basket at a set loss in account currency.
- Protections are measured on the whole account, so they also work when the EA runs on both pairs at the same time.
- Pause and stop states are saved, so they are kept after a terminal restart.
On-chart panel
- State, pair and profile.
- Balance, equity, floating profit and drawdown.
- Distance to each protection (day, month, hard stop).
- The four baskets: orders, lot, pips to target and profit.
- PAUSE / RESUME and CLOSE ALL buttons (with confirmation).
- Panel, buttons and messages in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5, hedging account (the EA does not trade on netting accounts).
- Low-spread account (ECN/raw) recommended.
- A VPS is recommended so the EA runs 24 hours a day.
- Attach the EA to one AUDCAD M5 chart and/or one EURGBP M5 chart.
Main inputs
- Language: English, Portuguese or Spanish.
- Automatic configuration: true = use the calibrated settings of the pair; false = use the manual inputs.
- Risk profile: Conservative, Moderate or Aggressive.
- Require M5: refuses to start on another timeframe.
- Magic number: the counter-trend baskets use Magic + 1.
- Trading hours: start and stop hour (server time).
- ADX filter / speed filter: block new levels in strong or very fast moves.
- Basket maximum loss: on/off and amount in account currency.
- Daily, monthly and hard stop protections: on/off and resume hour.
- Panel: show/hide, position and gold chart theme.
Risk warning
This is a grid strategy. During long, strong trends several levels can be open at the same time and the floating loss can be significant. The account protections limit this loss, but they do not remove it. Use a balance that matches the chosen profile, and test the EA on a demo account first. Past results, including backtests, do not guarantee future results.
