DCA by Achira Meegasthanne is an automated Expert Advisor based on a Dynamic Cost Averaging (DCA) approach. The EA is designed to build a position progressively when market conditions remain aligned with the selected trend direction.
The strategy combines an EMA-based trend filter, configurable price-step parameters, and position averaging logic to determine when to open additional buy positions and when to exit the accumulated position.
Main Settings
📈 EMA Trend Filter
The EA uses an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) to identify the current market direction.

💰 Dynamic Cost Averaging
When the market moves against the initial entry while the trend condition remains valid, the EA can add another position at a lower price.
The average entry price is recalculated after each additional entry.
🎯 Dynamic Take Profit
The take-profit level is calculated from the weighted average entry price.
As additional positions are added, the EA recalculates the average price and updates the target accordingly.
⚙️ Fully Configurable Parameters
The main strategy parameters can be adjusted according to your trading requirements:
