Alpha Ricochet is an automated trading robot built around a simple idea: instead of adding more volume to a losing position, it reacts to a single loss by reversing direction with a protected stop loss, and only adds a recovery position if that reversal is also stopped out.
The EA continuously reads market conditions using ADX to tell whether the market is ranging or trending. Position spacing then adapts automatically: it uses Bollinger Band width during ranging conditions and ATR during trending conditions, rather than a single fixed distance in every market condition.
Every position, including the reversal and recovery trades, is managed with a trailing take profit rather than a fixed target, so profitable trades are given room to grow while still being protected from giving back gains. An equity and margin guard also pauses new trades whenever floating drawdown or margin level cross safety thresholds you define, without closing positions that are already open.
Key features:
- Adaptive grid spacing based on market regime (ADX, ATR, Bollinger Bands)
- Reversal-based loss management with a protected stop loss instead of martingale-style averaging
- Recovery position logic if the reversal is stopped out
- Trailing take profit on every position type
- Equity and margin-level protection before opening new trades
- Fully configurable lot sizing, stop-loss distance, and trailing parameters
Based on our own testing, Alpha Ricochet is currently recommended for EURUSD on the H1 (1-hour) timeframe. Other symbols and timeframes may work but have not been validated to the same extent, so please test thoroughly on a demo account first and adjust the input parameters to the instrument and market conditions you intend to trade.
Risk warning: Forex and CFD trading carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. No trading robot, including this one, can guarantee profits, and past test results do not guarantee future performance. Please use proper risk management and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
