I have to say that this Mavrik EA from Vladimír is a really good and powerful tool. Its precise inputs are really impressive. It is absolutely easy to install and start up. Vladimír always answered my questions very quickly. The one small thing I miss is at least a basic control panel where you could adjust your own SL and a few other tools. I have done hundreds of tests and have been using it on a real account since the very beginning. Yes, yesterday, July 30th, for the first time in my use of the EA, the SL hit, but I turned off the Thursdays from my tests and adjustments according to the test results in the long term and yesterday it paid off. Vladimír, a big compliment, I believe that Mavrik will continue to work so great. PS: please try to add a small panel with a few setting options :-) thank you for such a great Mavrik EA

Have only been using this EA for a few weeks, but is incredibly reliable so far and a great addition to my portfolio. Certainly get nervous about the stop loss being hit as it is so wide, but for now this has not happened. Developer has been very quick to respond and support and is very confident with the strategy. With the tight trailing stop loss it locks in small profits on a regular basis and is a reliable addition. I suspect that the stop loss will be hit at some point, but accepting this as part of the strategy is part of the approach you need. I hope that as market conditions change the developer will stay engaged and continue to adapt the settings to allow for continued gains with this EA. Early days but very impressed so far.

Is it a good EA? For now seems like yes, but there's a golden rule in EA world - even the best EA works until it does not. So.... early adopters of this EA might benefit, later - I guess it'll just blow out. And we need to face this reality - there's a market shift, there's broker manipulations - and you're done.

UPDATE after some time of using this EA:

Also, this EA is not good for prop firms, as it has relatively large drawdown, which happens rather often - as minimum 10%.

Also, stop loss logic is quite a terrible - you might win all the week, and then one trade vanishes out all profits and you back to basics if not worse... In 99% cases EA hits SL, which is still in profit, but I've never experienced a TP scenario - means, the whole logic of this EA is still rather awkward - you kinda win, but always on the verge of losing a lot....

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience and for updating your review.
Before evaluating the strategy, it is very important to run a sufficiently long test in the MT5 Strategy Tester with settings you plan to use.
This allows you to understand the complete behavior of the EA, including profitable periods, losing sequences, drawdown, and recovery.
The strategy is designed to generate a series of smaller profitable trades, while occasionally accepting a larger losing trade.
In some periods, one Stop Loss may reduce a significant part of the recent profit.
However, over a longer series of trades, the profitable positions are intended to compensate for these losses.
This structure is visible in the long-term backtest and is part of the original strategy logic.
The EA does not need every position to reach the full Take Profit level.
Some trades can be closed earlier by the internal trade-management logic, so the strategy should be evaluated by the complete account result rather than only by the number of visible TP and SL closures.
Regarding prop firms, the EA can be used with prop-firm accounts when the risk and protection parameters are configured according to the company’s exact daily and overall drawdown limits.
However, every prop firm has different rules, so the settings must be tested carefully before starting a challenge.
