OBX Gold Trader

OBX Gold Trader is a dual-strategy Expert Advisor that automatically adapts its trading approach based on the symbol it is running on.

For Gold (XAUUSD), the EA uses a proven Order Block detection system. It identifies high-momentum impulse candles followed by a breakout confirmation, filtered by volume, to pinpoint institutional order blocks. Trades are managed with a fixed stop loss and take profit, with an automatic trailing stop that locks in profit once the trade is 50% of the way to target.

For all other symbols such as EURUSD, GBPUSD, and other forex pairs, the EA switches to a MA25 Mean Reversion strategy. It waits for price to stretch significantly away from the 25-period Moving Average, then requires a reversal pattern (engulfing candle or pin bar) to form at the extreme. A retest confirmation is then required before entry, ensuring the level holds as support or resistance. The take profit is set at the MA25 level, targeting a return to the mean. A breakeven and ATR-based trailing stop protect the trade once it moves in profit.
