Recommended Settings

- Timeframe configuration:
- Scalping: M5/M15 with BB period=14, MA=30
- Intraday: H1 with BB period=20, MA=50 (default)
- Swing: H4/D1 with BB period=25, MA=80
- Expansion/contraction period: 125 days to capture complete volatility cycles
- Visual setup: Fill transparency 85%, line transparency 70%
- Standard deviation multiplier: 2.0 (default) - increase for more volatile markets
- Moving average method: EMA for greater reactivity, SMA for stability
- Arrow distance and size: Customizable based on chart scale

Installation and Usage
- Copy Volatility Vortex.ex5 to MQL5/Indicators in your MT5
- Restart MetaTrader or refresh the Navigator
- Drag "Volatility Vortex" onto the chart
- Configure parameters through the organized interface categories
- Monitor volatility cycles and wait for the complete signal sequence:
- For LONG signals: price below lower band → BBW above MA → lower band flattening → price reenters → bullish swing pattern
- For SHORT signals: price above upper band → BBW below MA → upper band flattening → price reenters → bearish swing pattern
