Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA

Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA is a Gold-only Expert Advisor for MT4, built specifically for XAUUSD traders who want high-frequency style execution with professional-grade execution control built into the system.

Most HFT-style robots are built around one idea: trade faster. The problem is that live broker environments punish uncontrolled speed. Too many order requests, excessive modifications, burst activity during thin liquidity, or trading through wide spreads can trigger broker restrictions, cause account limitations, or simply produce poor results that no amount of speed can fix.

Artemis was designed around a different principle — controlled speed is more sustainable than uncontrolled speed.

Artemis Throttle Guard

The defining feature of Artemis is the Throttle Guard execution-control module. Rather than allowing unlimited high-frequency activity, Throttle Guard gives the trader direct control over how the EA interacts with the broker. Configurable limits include maximum trade requests per day, maximum actions per minute, minimum time between trade actions, and separate daily caps on OrderSend, OrderClose, OrderModify, and OrderDelete attempts. Failed trade attempts can optionally be counted against these limits. Counters persist through terminal restarts and reset automatically at the broker server's trading day boundary.

This prevents the kind of unchecked order activity that can put accounts at risk with broker fair-use policies.

Built for Gold

Artemis is designed exclusively for XAUUSD. Gold is fast, volatile, and sensitive to spread changes and liquidity shifts in ways that general-purpose EAs often cannot handle well. Artemis includes a Gold-only symbol filter, spread and average spread filters, an ATR volatility filter, and an RSI confirmation filter. Schedule controls include configurable trading windows, a Friday cutoff, and a manual news pause. Common broker symbol naming variations are supported.

Risk protection

Artemis includes a dedicated risk layer with controls for maximum daily loss, maximum daily drawdown percentage, maximum open risk, daily profit target lock, and maximum daily losing trades. Per-trade and total lot limits are configurable, along with cooldown periods after both winning and losing trades. An optional emergency close-all can be triggered on a risk breach.

Execution and diagnostics monitoring

The EA includes a live execution monitoring tab showing current and average spread, ATR volatility, slippage tracking, retry error counts, and cooldown status. A separate diagnostics tab displays broker server conditions including stop level, freeze level, lot constraints, tick values, margin requirements, and swap rates — useful when deploying across brokers with different Gold symbol configurations or UTC offsets.

Dashboard and trading profiles

Artemis includes a multi-tab dashboard with sections for live account status, risk exposure, execution conditions, broker diagnostics, schedule settings, trade history, performance statistics, EA configuration, a runtime event log, and a quick-reference help tab. When the EA blocks a trade, the reason is displayed clearly.

Four trading profiles are available — Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive, and Custom — adjusting how strictly the EA responds to signal frequency and volatility thresholds. The default Conservative profile runs up to approximately 100 trade actions per day on the M1 chart.

Important

Artemis Throttle Guard manages order frequency and execution pressure. It cannot guarantee broker acceptance of every trade or prevent all forms of account restriction. Each broker applies its own rules and fair-use policies. Artemis provides a professional control layer to help traders manage that risk more responsibly.
