Air Force Marshal is a professional Grid-Based Recovery Expert Advisor designed specifically for XAU/USD (Gold) on the M5 Timeframe.
This EA combines Dynamic Grid Expansion, Adaptive Lot Scaling, Volatility Protection, and Strict Risk Control Logic to deliver structured and Controlled Recovery Trading.

It is a Hybrid Grid-Recovery System built to manage Drawdown, Control Exposure, and Close Positions using calculated Basket Profit Logic.
Core Trading Logic:
- Dynamic Grid Expansion
- Adaptive Lot Size Scaling
- Basket Average Take Profit
- Volatility Spike Protection
- Spread Protection Filter
- Daily Time Control System
- Optional Force Closing at Midnight
- Smart Drawdown Limitation
Trades are closed based on Calculated Average Basket Profit, not Random TP placement.
Input Settings Overview
Below is a clear explanation of the key parameters used to control the system.

- False: Trades without Stop Loss (full market exposure).
2. Volatility Spike Switch

3. High Risk Reward Switch
- True: More aggressive mode, captures more opportunities.
- False: Conservative mode, reduced exposure.
4. Mid Night Force Close Switch

5. Risk Buffer Percent

6. Max Drawdown Percent
Defines the maximum allowed account loss percentage if price continues moving against open positions.
Works together with Limit_Loss_Switch when set to True.
7. Spread Size Limit
Prevents new entries when spread exceeds the defined limit.
8. Take Profit Pips
Defines the average basket Take Profit.
Calculated based on:
- Number of open orders
- Grid distance
- Volume of each order
9. Volatility Spike Pips
Defines the pip threshold used to detect abnormal volatility.
10. Server Time
The EA operates using broker server time (GMT+2).
11. Day Start & End Time Controls
Used for daily reset logic and trading session control.
12. Trading Time Window
Defines when the EA is allowed to open new trades.
13. Mail Friday Report Time
Sends a performance summary notification (if MQID is configured).
14. Mid Night Force Closing Time
Defines the exact time when force closing occurs if enabled.
Real Market Behavior
When price moves against the initial position:
- The grid expands progressively
- Lot size scales according to defined coefficients
- Distance between orders may adjust dynamically
- Recovery occurs when price retraces to the Calculated Average Basket Profit

Capital, Drawdown & Worst-Case Scenario Explanation
Before evaluating:
- Maximum Drawdown
- Recommended Capital
- Worst-Case Scenario
The following parameters must be carefully assessed:
- Limit Loss Switch
- Max Drawdown Percent
- High Risk Reward Switch
These three parameters directly determine how the EA handles Worst-Case Scenarios and overall risk exposure.
A detailed review of Screenshot #3 in the Screenshot Section is required prior to configuration.
Risk Configuration Logic
When:
Limit Loss Switch = TRUE
The following actions are required:
- Review the “Last Max Low” value shown on the chart (Screenshot #3).
- Compare this value with the current account balance.
- Adjust Max Drawdown Percent accordingly.
Why?
Because the “Last Maximum Low” (Maximum Adverse Excursion) represents the maximum adverse movement the system experienced before recovering into profit.
This value provides a Realistic and Practical Reference for configuring Risk Control, Safeguarding Trading Capital, and enabling the user to clearly and accurately determine the Recommended Capital required to operate the system safely, efficiently, and sustainably over time.
