Velocity Pulse Gold 2.0
Velocity Pulse Gold 2.0 is a multi-strategy Expert Advisor developed for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 4.
Version 2.0 replaces the original single-engine approach with three independently managed trading modules using M15 signals and H1 market context. All three modules are enabled by default and can be disabled individually.
The shared execution layer includes spread, price-drift and execution controls designed to avoid entries when current trading conditions exceed the configured limits. These controls reduce dependence on temporary spread widening, but they do not make the EA spread-independent.
Strategy architecture
S1 - M15 volatility module
S1 evaluates price interaction with a volatility channel together with CCI and Bollinger Band conditions. Stop Loss and Take Profit distances are calculated from current ATR volatility.
S2 - M15 and H1 market-context module
S2 combines M15 trend-strength information with H1 momentum and volatility conditions. This module includes ATR-based protection, break-even management and trailing-stop management.
S3 - M15 virtual breakout module
S3 combines trend strength, CCI momentum changes and channel movement. Its entry level is managed as a virtual trigger. In ROBUST mode, a BUY trigger is confirmed using the Bid price and a SELL trigger using the Ask price. The opposite trigger is cancelled after one side is executed.
Each module uses its own magic number, position state and trade comment. The modules can operate together or individually using the Enable_S1, Enable_S2 and Enable_S3 parameters.
Execution and spread controls
ROBUST execution mode is enabled by default and includes:
• Maximum spread expressed in XAUUSD price units
• Maximum spread relative to the planned Stop Loss distance
• Temporary signal queue when spread or execution conditions are unfavorable
• Maximum adverse price movement before a queued signal is cancelled
• Virtual trigger overshoot protection
• Configurable order-deviation tolerance
• Stop Loss and Take Profit recalculated from the executed price
• Optional OCO management for S3 virtual triggers
These controls are designed to improve entry discipline during changing market conditions. Actual execution still depends on the broker, liquidity, spread, commission, latency and slippage.
Money and risk management
• Fixed-lot trading with 0.01 lot as the default
• Automatic equity-based risk calculation when FixedLot is set to 0
• Broker-side Stop Loss and Take Profit on every opened trade

The daily loss limit, daily target and maximum daily trade limit are optional. They should be configured according to the account size and the trader's risk tolerance.
No grid, no martingale and no recovery lot multiplication are used.
Integrated dashboard
The chart dashboard displays:
• Balance and equity
• Current account-day result
• Current and maximum configured spread
• Selected execution mode
• Number of open positions
• S1, S2 and S3 status
• S3 virtual trigger status
• Daily target and loss-limit status
• Number of trades opened during the day
• Current system status
Installation and recommended setup
Platform: MetaTrader 4
Instrument: XAUUSD or a broker symbol containing XAU or GOLD
Recommended chart: M5 - M15
Default lot: 0.01
Default execution mode: ROBUST
Default modules: S1, S2 and S3 enabled
No additional custom indicator installation is required. All required strategy calculations are integrated into the EA.
Use one EA instance per gold symbol unless different manual magic-number bases are configured. AutoTrading and Allow Live Trading must remain enabled.
A stable VPS connection is recommended because signal queues and S3 entry triggers are managed virtually by the EA.
Important information
Velocity Pulse Gold 2.0 is an intraday trading system, not a high-frequency trading robot. Some positions may remain open until their Stop Loss, Take Profit or Friday closing condition is reached.
The EA does not include an economic-news filter. Traders who do not want exposure during major economic announcements should manage these periods according to their own trading plan.
Temporary virtual signals are cleared if MetaTrader or the EA is restarted. The terminal or VPS must therefore remain active for virtual entry management.
There is no universal minimum deposit. Required capital depends on the selected lot size, leverage, XAUUSD contract specifications and acceptable drawdown. Test the EA with your broker's trading conditions before using it on a live account.
Trading involves risk. Backtest results are simulations and are not live trading results. Past results do not guarantee future performance. Results can vary because of spread, commission, slippage, liquidity, data quality, broker server time and execution conditions.
Very promising results after my first week of testing. On a $3,000 account, the EA generated $92.57 in closed profit, approximately 3.1%, across 11 trades, with a profit factor of 2.54 and a maximum drawdown of only 1.18%. The performance has been stable so far, and the risk appears to be well controlled. The seller has also been very responsive, helpful, and professional. It is still early, so I will continue testing and monitoring the EA. I will post another review in a few weeks to share my longer-term results. My initial experience has been excellent. Highly recommended!
