SMC AI Pro: Smart Money Concepts Indicator with Multi-Timeframe Confluence and Trade Plan Dashboard
Reading Smart Money Concepts by hand means judging structure, order blocks and gaps across several timeframes. SMC AI Pro does that work on your chart. It maps six core concepts, checks them against the next higher timeframe, and turns the result into a trade plan with a price for entry, stop loss and take profit.
2. WHAT THIS INDICATOR DOES
SMC AI Pro detects and tracks six Smart Money Concepts: Break of Structure (BOS), Market Structure Shift (MSS), Order Blocks, Breaker Blocks, Fair Value Gaps and Inverse Fair Value Gaps.
It addresses three common problems. Charts fill up with stale, already-filled zones. Traders take setups that fight the higher-timeframe direction. And "where exactly do I enter, stop and target?" is left to guesswork. The indicator keeps only active zones, requires higher-timeframe agreement before it issues a trade, and shows exact price levels with a risk-to-reward estimate.
It is an analysis tool. It does not place or manage trades.
3. HOW THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS
Structure. Confirmed swing highs and swing lows are identified. An optional ZigZag-style filter removes swings that are too small relative to ATR.
BOS or MSS. A candle close beyond the latest swing marks a break. A break in the direction of the current bias is a BOS (continuation). A break against it is an MSS (possible reversal).
Zones. Order Blocks are the last opposing candle before a displacement move. Fair Value Gaps are three-candle gaps.
Zone life-cycle. Each zone is followed forward bar by bar and is either fresh (untouched) or tested (price has returned to it). When price closes through an Order Block it becomes a Breaker. When price closes through a Fair Value Gap it becomes an Inverse FVG. A second close through the flipped zone removes it.
Higher timeframe. The same analysis runs on the next higher timeframe to obtain its structure bias and active zones.
Probability engine. Structure bias, zone type and freshness, and higher-timeframe bias are scored into a Long versus Short percentage. This is a rule-based scoring model, not a statistical forecast.
Trade plan. If all conditions are met, the dashboard and chart show a plan.
4. CORE FEATURES
Higher-timeframe confluence. The timeframe is selected automatically (M15 to H1, H1 to H4, H4 to D1 and so on), or you can set it manually. HIGH confidence and trade signals require the higher-timeframe bias to agree. A conflicting bias lowers confidence to LOW.
Smart zone management. Fully mitigated zones are removed. Only the most recent zones are drawn, up to a limit you set (default 8), which keeps the chart readable.
Fresh versus tested zones. Untouched zones are drawn filled and tested zones as dotted outlines. Tested zones carry less weight in the scoring.
Stricter detection. Order Blocks must be followed by a displacement candle that closes through them. The ATR-based displacement, swing and gap-size filters can be adjusted, and an optional candle-body filter and an optional tick-volume filter can be switched on.
Exact trade levels. The dashboard shows Entry, Stop Loss, TP1, TP2 and the risk-to-reward ratio for each target.
Show/hide control. Each of the six concepts can be shown or hidden independently.
Session filter. Signals can be restricted to London and New York hours.
Alerts. Popup, push notification and email.
5. BUY AND SELL SIGNALS
The indicator does not draw arrows. A LONG or SHORT plan appears only when all of the following are true:
The dominant probability reaches your minimum (default 65%).
Market structure bias matches the trade direction.
The higher-timeframe bias agrees, if the higher-timeframe check is enabled.
The current time is inside your session window, if the session filter is enabled.
A valid entry zone exists in the trade direction.
All of this is evaluated on closed candles. A plan is not formed from a candle that is still open.
When a plan is active, the dashboard shows the direction. The chart shows a signal box that is green from Entry to TP1 and red from Entry to SL. The entry is the near edge of the nearest fresh zone, and zones that price has already tested are used only if no fresh zone exists. The stop sits beyond the far edge of the zone with an ATR-based buffer. TP1 is the nearest opposing zone or unbroken swing that offers at least your minimum R:R. If none exists, a projected 2R target is used and marked "(proj)". TP2 is an extension of 1.618 times the TP1 distance.
6. TRADE SETUP INTERPRETATION
Treat the output as a structured map, not a command. A HIGH-confidence plan means the indicator's conditions are aligned: structure, zone quality and higher-timeframe direction agree. It does not mean the trade will win.
A fresh zone aligned with the higher timeframe is the cleanest setup the tool can show. A tested zone, a conflicting higher timeframe or an off-session reading is shown as less favourable. When there is no trade, the dashboard states the reason, such as probability below the minimum or higher timeframe not in agreement. That tells you what is missing instead of leaving you guessing.
7. CONFIRMATION AND FILTERS
All filters are optional and adjustable:
Swing strength and the ZigZag ATR swing-size filter
Displacement ATR requirement for Order Blocks
Minimum FVG size relative to ATR
Candle-body ratio filter
Tick-volume filter against a rolling average
Higher-timeframe agreement, with an optional requirement that the entry zone overlap an HTF zone
London / New York session filter
Minimum probability threshold
8. CHART VISUALIZATION
Structure lines. BOS and MSS appear as dashed lines at the broken level with labels, using separate colors.
Zones. Zones are labelled by type and direction, such as "Bull OB", "Bear FVG", "Bull Breaker" or "Bear IFVG". Each has its own color.
Signal box. A green box marks Entry to TP1 and a red box marks Entry to SL, with price labels.
Dashboard. A dark royal-themed panel on the left shows the structure bias, higher-timeframe bias and confluence status, confidence level, session status, zone counts (fresh and tested), Long and Short probability bars, and the full trade plan.
Chart theme. By default the indicator applies a white background, blue bull candles, purple bear candles and no grid. Period separators are shown on timeframes below H4. You can turn the theme off with a single setting.
9. SUPPORTED TIMEFRAMES AND MARKETS
The indicator runs on any chart timeframe and symbol where MetaTrader 5 provides price history. It was designed so that it stays light on lower timeframes such as M5 and M15, because it recalculates once per new bar. For the best results, load enough history on both the chart timeframe and the higher timeframe.
The volume filter uses tick volume, so its behaviour depends on your broker's data. Broker-specific or instrument-specific performance has not been verified.
10. USER SETTINGS
Structure. Swing strength, lookback bars, ZigZag filter, ATR period.
Concepts. Show or hide BOS, MSS, OB, Breaker, FVG, IFVG.
Zones. Maximum zones, show tested zones, displacement ATR, FVG minimum size, body filter, volume filter.
Higher timeframe. On or off, manual timeframe override, zone-overlap requirement.
Trade plan. Minimum probability, stop buffer in ATR, minimum R:R.
Session. Enable, broker GMT offset, London and New York hours.
Alerts. Popup, push, email.
Appearance. All colors, dashboard position and width, chart theme, grid.
11. INSTALLATION AND ACTIVATION
Install the indicator. In MetaTrader 5, open File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Indicators and refresh the Navigator if you are installing manually.
Drag the indicator from the Navigator onto any chart.
For push alerts, enter your MetaQuotes ID under Tools > Options > Notifications. For email alerts, configure your email settings under Tools > Options > Email.
If you use the session filter, set the broker GMT offset to match your server time.
12. PRACTICAL TRADING PROCEDURE
Check the higher-timeframe bias and confluence status in the dashboard.
Confirm the structure bias on your chart timeframe matches.
Look for a fresh zone in the direction of the plan.
Review the entry, stop loss and TP1 levels in the signal box. Check whether the stop distance and R:R suit your plan.
Place your order manually using your own execution rules.
Manage the trade according to your own plan. If the zone is closed through, the indicator treats it as mitigated or flipped.
13. RISK MANAGEMENT
Built in: a suggested stop placed beyond the zone with an ATR buffer, and a displayed R:R for TP1 and TP2.
Not built in: position sizing, trade execution and trade management. As external practice, risk a small fixed percentage of your account per trade, size the position from the displayed stop distance, and avoid trading around major news releases unless your strategy is designed for them.
14. LIMITATIONS AND TRANSPARENCY
Signals and alerts are based on closed candles only, and nothing changes while a candle is forming. The dashboard and zones are recalculated at each new bar close. As price moves, zones can be mitigated, flipped or replaced, and the most recent zones are always the ones shown. Swings are confirmed only after the required number of bars has passed, so structure labels appear with a delay by design.
The indicator draws the current setup. It does not plot a history of past signals, so it is not designed for back-testing signal accuracy.
The probability percentages come from fixed scoring rules, not from statistical testing or machine learning.
Smart Money Concepts involve interpretation. Different settings produce different zones, and false signals will occur, especially in ranging, low-liquidity or news-driven markets.
The higher-timeframe analysis requires available history. While it loads, the dashboard shows LOADING or N/A.
The indicator does not trade automatically.
15. WHO SHOULD USE THIS INDICATOR?
It suits discretionary traders who already follow, or want to learn, Smart Money Concepts and want a consistent, rule-based map of structure and zones. It also suits traders who want higher-timeframe alignment before an entry and a clear price level for stop and target. Scalpers on M5/M15 and swing traders on H1 to D1 can both use it. It is not intended for traders who want a fully automated system or a guaranteed signal service.
16. WHY THIS INDICATOR DESERVES ATTENTION
It enforces higher-timeframe agreement instead of leaving that check to the trader.
It keeps the chart clean by removing mitigated zones, limiting the zone count and separating fresh zones from tested ones.
It converts the analysis into an entry, a stop, two targets and a visible signal box.
It tells you why there is no trade, which supports disciplined waiting.
Every filter and concept can be turned on or off, so you can tune it to your own style.
It includes alert delivery by popup, push and email, with a session filter for London and New York hours.
17. RISK DISCLAIMER
Trading foreign exchange and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your initial deposit. This indicator is an analytical tool and does not guarantee profits or any specific result. Past or displayed setups do not predict future performance. Test it on a demo account first and trade only with money you can afford to lose.
