Nasdaq H1 Trend Follow Expert
Nasdaq H1 Trend Follow Expert is an automated trend-following Expert Advisor developed for MetaTrader 5 and designed specifically for Nasdaq-100 related instruments.
The EA uses a combination of EMA, ADX, Directional Indicators, RSI and ATR to identify established market trends, filter weak conditions and manage risk dynamically.
The trading logic always operates on the H1 timeframe and uses completed candles for signal confirmation.
SUPPORTED SYMBOLS
The EA is designed to recognize common Nasdaq-100 symbol variations used by different brokers, including:
NAS100
US100
USTEC
NASDAQ100
NDX
USTECH100
USTECH_100
Broker-specific suffixes such as .cash, .raw or similar variations may also be recognized.
TRADING LOGIC
BUY conditions:
• Price closes above EMA 200
• EMA 50 is above EMA 200
• ADX is equal to or greater than the selected minimum level
• +DI is above -DI
• RSI confirms bullish momentum within the configured range
SELL conditions:
• Price closes below EMA 200
• EMA 50 is below EMA 200
• ADX is equal to or greater than the selected minimum level
• -DI is above +DI
• RSI confirms bearish momentum within the configured range
All signals are evaluated using completed H1 candles.
DYNAMIC RISK MANAGEMENT
The EA can automatically calculate position size according to available free margin and the selected RiskPercent.
Default RiskPercent: 1%
Position size is calculated using:
• Available free margin
• Selected risk percentage
• Stop Loss distance
• Symbol tick size
• Symbol tick value
• Broker minimum and maximum volume
• Volume step
• Available margin
If the calculated position requires more margin than available, the EA attempts to reduce the volume. If even the minimum permitted volume cannot be opened safely, no trade is placed.
STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT
Stop Loss is dynamically calculated using market volatility:
Stop Loss = ATR(14) × 1.5
Take Profit is calculated according to the selected Reward/Risk ratio.
Default Reward/Risk Ratio = 2.0
This provides an initial target of approximately 1:2 risk/reward.
The EA also respects the broker's minimum stop distance and symbol-specific trading specifications.
DAILY RISK CONTROL
A daily loss protection mechanism is included.
Default Daily Loss Limit: 3%
When the configured daily loss threshold is reached, the EA stops opening new positions for the remainder of the trading day.
Existing position management can continue normally.

IMPORTANT
Nasdaq-100 instruments can have different symbol names, contract specifications, spreads, tick values and trading conditions depending on the broker.
Always test the EA in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester using your broker's historical data before using it on a live account.
It is also recommended to perform forward testing on a demo account before considering live trading.
