Smart Sweep Sniper is a precision-engineered MetaTrader 4 indicator that identifies high-probability A+ and A++ trade setups by combining **multi-timeframe Order Block/FVG analysis** with **institutional key level detection**. Unlike indicators that flood your chart with noise, Smart Sweep Sniper only triggers when multiple confluences align — producing fewer but significantly higher-quality signals.
"Please note that the 'Midnight Open' refers strictly to 00:00 New York Time, not your broker's standard daily candle open. Accurately configuring your specific broker's time offset in the settings is crucial to unlock the indicator's true institutional precision."

## How It Works — The Core Logic
Smart Sweep Sniper operates on a simple institutional principle: **when price sweeps a key level and reacts from a higher-timeframe Order Block/Fair Value Gap zone, institutional money is likely at play.
The indicator runs a three-layer detection engine on every candle:
Layer 1 — HTF Order Block Detection & Bias Engine
The indicator continuously scans D1, H4, and H1 timeframes for valid Order Blocks/FVG — the last opposing candle before a confirmed impulsive move. Each OB is validated by requiring a configurable number of consecutive impulse candles (1 to 5) before it is accepted. When price touches the midpoint of an active OB/FVG zone, the indicator registers the touch, assigns a directional bias (Bull or Bear), and locks it at the corresponding timeframe weight (D1 = 3, H4 = 2, H1 = 1). Higher timeframes always dominate lower ones. The bias only flips when a higher-weight touch occurs in the opposite direction, or when price invalidates the OB/FVG zone by closing beyond it.
Layer 2 — Institutional Key Level Monitoring
The indicator tracks seven critical institutional levels in real-time: Previous Day High/Low, Previous Week High/Low, Previous Month High/Low, and the Midnight Open (customizable time). Each zone can be individually enabled or disabled.
Layer 3 — Signal Generation
-
A+ Signal (Breakout): When price creates a Fair Value Gap by sweeping below a key level (or above for sells) and the HTF bias confirms the direction, a gold or red arrow appears with the gap zone highlighted.
-
A++ Signal (Rejection Retest): When price returns to an active A+ gap zone and prints a rejection candle (wick-to-body ratio above threshold), a high-conviction A++ re-entry signal is generated.
Both signal types require the HTF bias to be aligned. Signals against the bias are automatically discarded —

## Key Features
Multi-Timeframe Bias Dashboard
A real-time on-chart panel displays the current bias direction (Bull/Bear/Neutral), the locking timeframe and weight, the OB source (e.g. "D1 BOB", "H4 SOB"), and the active zone boundaries. Know exactly what the indicator sees at a glance.
Configurable OB/FVG Confirmation Strength
Choose how many consecutive impulse candles are required to validate an Order Block (1 to 5). A setting of 1 accepts all standard OBs. A setting of 3 or more filters out weak zones and only keeps Order Blocks backed by strong institutional moves.
Visual Touch Markers
Every time price touches an HTF Order Block/FVG midpoint, a colored dot is placed on your chart with an optional label showing the timeframe and type (e.g. "D1 BOB", "H4 SOB"). Instantly see where and when the bias was established.
Selective Key Level Detection
Enable or disable each detection zone independently: Previous Day High/Low, Previous Week High/Low, Previous Month High/Low, and Midnight Open. Fine-tune the indicator to match your trading style and the specific instrument you trade.
Session Filter
Restrict signal detection to specific trading hours. Default is 08:00–17:00 (London/NY overlap), fully adjustable to any session or killzone.
Real-Time Alerts
Popup and push notification alerts for both A+ and A++ signals, individually configurable. Never miss a high-probability setup.
Full Visual Customization
Every color, font size, arrow distance, and display element is individually adjustable. The indicator adapts to your chart style, not the other way around.

## What Makes Smart Sweep Sniper Different
Most SMC indicators draw hundreds of zones and leave you guessing which ones matter. Smart Sweep Sniper takes a fundamentally different approach:
-
Bias-first filtering: Signals are only generated when aligned with the higher-timeframe institutional flow. This single rule eliminates the majority of losing setups.
-
Hierarchical weight system: D1 Order Blocks override H4, which override H1. No ambiguity about which direction to trade.
-
Dynamic invalidation: When the HTF candle closes beyond the OB/FVG zone, the bias resets automatically. No stale signals sitting on your chart.
-
Validated Order Blocks/FVG only: The configurable confirmation parameter ensures you only trade from OBs with real momentum behind them, not random opposing candles.
-
Two-stage entries (A+ → A++): The A+ breakout gives you the initial setup. The A++ rejection retest gives you the high-conviction re-entry with a tighter stop. Both are tracked as a unified system.

## Built for Prop Firm Traders
Note:
Prop Firm trading is subject to very strict Copy Trading requirements. We intentionally do not provide a .set configuration file. You must choose one or two currency pairs to trade. Identify the key levels at which they regularly react and configure the indicator according to the timeframe chosen for your trading style. Take the time to do the work, and the results will follow.
Our advice:
Choose a maximum of one or two currency pairs, preferably uncorrelated. Place the indicator on your chart and identify the areas where the price has been consistently moving over one or two months (the Midnight Open is often a clear choice). Choose two liquidity zones (OB/FVG) on the same timeframe (H1 for scalping and intraday trading, H4 or Daily for swing trading) and select the zones that seem most sensitive for your chosen pair. Activate A+ signals to receive all signals or A++ signals for high-probability signals.
Smart Sweep Sniper was designed from the ground up with funded account rules in mind. Here is why it gives prop firm traders a decisive edge:
Strict drawdown compliance :
The bias-first logic and signal filtering drastically reduce the number of counter-trend trades. Fewer impulsive entries mean smaller drawdowns and smoother equity curves — exactly what evaluation phases require.
High-probability setups only :
A+ and A++ signals require multi-timeframe confluence (HTF OB bias + key level sweep + rejection pattern). This naturally produces a high win rate without needing to take dozens of trades per day. Quality over quantity keeps you within daily loss limits.
Session control for killzone trading.:
The built-in session filter lets you restrict signals to London and New York hours — the sessions with the highest institutional participation and cleanest price action. Avoid getting caught in low-volume Asian session noise that triggers stop hunts.
Adaptable to any prop firm ruleset :
Whether your challenge limits you to one trade at a time, requires a profit target within 30 days, or enforces a 5% daily drawdown cap, the indicator's selective signaling means you can wait for the highest-conviction setup rather than forcing trades to meet activity requirements.
Clear invalidation = disciplined exits :
When an Order Block is broken, the bias resets to neutral and all active signals against the new direction are automatically discarded. This built-in discipline prevents the "hoping for a reversal" mindset that blows prop firm accounts.
Two-stage entry for optimal risk:reward :
Use A+ signals to identify the setup direction, then wait for the A++ rejection retest for a tighter entry with a smaller stop loss. This naturally achieves 1:2 to 1:5 risk-reward ratios, which is the fastest way to pass any evaluation phase.
