the Powerplay Trade Manager was developed to trail your stops based on the Powerplay calculation method.

You open the trade and this Trade Manager will do the rest for you.

Have applied the PTM to various timeframes  and all seems fine.  

The exception is the daily. I receive the following in journal. Seems SL does not work correctly

 2014.07.07 10:48:23.144 'xxxxxxx': modification of order #7302881 sell 0.01 EURUSD at 1.35950 sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 -> sl: 2147483647.00000 tp: 1.35829 failed [Invalid parameters]

Hi Arthur,

the reason for this behave is that the EURUSD is currently in an uptrend on D1 with filled "Up Buffers" and empty "Down Buffers".

So the Down Buffer stop loss is empty (empty is equal to 2147483647) and can't be used for this sell order.

Please use the next lower timeframe with a currently running downtrend, H4 in this case, for the PTM.

Hi Daniel,

I'm very happy with the trade manager so far but facing always the same problem with trailing stop during down swings. The trader doesn't place any stops during a down swing. Im wondering because I've not even one problem observed with up swings. Each small change in powerplay ends up in a new trailing stop.

I've tried to restart, modifiy settings but nothing seems to help. Please advise how to fix these issue.

Hello akuhnsh,

Powerplay and the Powerplay Trade Manager is recalculating on the current bar/candle depending on the price moves.

If you set the shift parameter to 1 like you see below the PPTM uses the Powerplay value of the last closed candle and you'll get only one trail per bar/candle.

It is running with a position now,but it doesn't order S/L automatically....Why?

1. Do you use the same calculation settings for Powerplay and the Powerplay Trade Manager?

Hi Daniel,

I'm using same default settings for Powerplay and the Powerplay Trade Manager.

I don't get any error messages.

I changed 'Take Profit in Pips' from 0 to 100 for Powerplay Trade Manager's parameter ,then it set S/L automatically.

I think it is working normally now.

Hello AgileInvest, 

we don't plan to add additional order types to the Powerplay Trade Manager because this product is a special add on tool for our Blueball Trading Strategy.

If we decide to create a General Trade Manager we'll definetly implement all order types but there are no free capacities to develop this at the moment.
