Elemental Gold is an Expert Advisor (EA) specifically developed for XAUUSD (Gold), focusing on stability and maintaining low drawdowns over more than 12 years of extensive backtesting.

  • Trend-Following Logic: Designed to maximize profits during trends while minimizing losses. It is built to consistently accumulate profits over the long term, even with a modest win rate.

  • Strict Risk Management: No Martingale, Grid, or other dangerous strategies. Every trade is protected by a mandatory Stop Loss.

  • Advanced Compounding Mode: Automatically calculates lot sizes based on your account balance, allowing for efficient capital growth while controlling risk.

  • Holiday Filter: Automatically restricts new entries during high-risk periods, such as year-end and New Year holidays, to avoid market gaps and extreme volatility.

Input Parameters

While we recommend running the EA with its default settings, it is fully customizable to suit your personal trading style.

  • Magic Number (98347527): A unique identifier for the EA. Ensure this number does not overlap with other EAs running on the same chart.

  • Lots (0.07): The fixed lot size used for non-compounding trading (Compound Mode = false).

  • Trade Comment ("Elemental Gold"): A comment attached to each trade, useful for organizing your trade history.

  • Stop Loss (Pips) (200): Specifies the maximum allowable loss per trade in pips.

  • Max Spread (Pips) (6.0): The maximum allowable spread. The EA will restrict entries when the spread exceeds this value to prevent unfavorable fills.

  • Compound Mode (false): Toggle for compounding interest. When set to true, the EA enables automatic lot calculation based on your margin.

  • - Risk Percentage (%) (2.0): Risk setting for compounding mode. Specifies what percentage of your account margin to risk per trade. The maximum is 10%.

  • - Calculation Base (FreeMargin): Selects the capital base used for compounding calculations.

  • Winter Holidays: Entry Filter Only (true): Year-end and New Year entry restriction. When true, only new entries are stopped during the specified period.

    • Note: The EA will not open new positions during this period, but will continue to manage and close existing positions based on its logic.

    • Note: The EA does not force-close positions on a specific date. Please stop the EA and close positions manually if required.

  • - Holiday Start (MMDD) (1224): Start date of the restriction in "MonthMonthDayDay" format (e.g., December 24).

  • - Holiday End (inclusive) (MMDD) (0103): End date of the restriction (e.g., until January 3).

Recommended Environment

  • Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold)

  • Timeframe: M5

  • Minimum Deposit: $2,000 or more is recommended. For smaller deposits, please reduce the lot size or risk settings.

  • Leverage: 1:500 or higher is recommended.

  • Risk Settings: 1.0% – 2.0%. If you enable Compound Mode, we recommend starting with a Risk Percentage of 1.0%.
