Live Signal Monitoring: Ultima Markets Signal
The live signal runs the MT5 version of AETHERIS Gold Stack. The MT4 version uses the same rules: on the same price history 1,420 of its 1,423 entries (99.8%) were identical to the MT5 version.
AETHERIS Gold Stack is a fully automated Expert Advisor for Gold (XAUUSD) on the M15 timeframe. Two independent engines look for entries: a Session Engine that trades the recurring intraday behaviour of gold, and a Structure Engine that trades in the direction of multi-timeframe market structure. Both hand their entries to one shared position manager - the Stack.
A stack is a basket of positions in one direction. It starts with a single position. If price moves against it, the EA adds further layers of the same volume at widening distances - five layers at most - and closes the whole basket at a common target. The lot size is never multiplied, losing positions are never hedged, and every basket has a hard stop behind its last layer. The EA holds only one basket at a time.
The decision rules are compiled in. There is nothing to optimise and no set file to look for: attach the EA to a Gold M15 chart, choose a risk level and enable Algo Trading.
Key Features
- Built for Gold: Designed and calibrated for XAUUSD on the M15 timeframe only.
- Two engines, sixteen entry modules: Eight session modules and eight structure modules, each with its own buy or sell conditions. Either engine can be switched off.
- One basket at a time: A new basket is opened only after the previous one is closed, whichever engine opened it. Exposure does not pile up across modules.
- Equal-volume layers with a hard stop: Up to five layers per basket, no martingale multiplier, and a stop behind the last layer that closes the whole basket. The stop distance is an input (on by default).
- Risk levels, a custom lot per balance or a fixed lot: Low, Medium and High size each layer at 0.01 lot per $1,500 / $1,000 / $750 of balance. A fixed lot can be used instead. Custom sets your own balance per 0.01 lot (for example $3,000).
- Account protection for prop firms and portfolios: Optional daily loss limit and maximum drawdown in % of the balance: the EA closes its own trades and pauses until the next day, or stops. The limits can measure this EA alone or the whole account. Off by default.
- Macro event pauses: No new baskets on US Non-Farm Payrolls Fridays, on FOMC decision days and late on Friday evenings.
- Broker clock auto-detection: Sessions and higher-timeframe structure are aligned to the New York close on any server clock (GMT+2/+3, GMT+0 and others), so the EA trades the same hours on every broker.
- Any Gold symbol name: Runs on XAUUSD, GOLD, XAUUSD+, XAUUSD.r, GOLD.i# and other broker symbol names.
- On-chart panel and trade labels: Live engine status, basket state, session results and profit / loss tags of closed baskets. It also shows the basket stop and the account protection against their limits.
- Self-contained: No DLLs, no WebRequest, no external indicators or files.
Explicit Rules - No AI-Memorised Trades
Some backtests look perfect because the EA has memorised the past: a trained model or a hidden list of trades replays history and then fails on live prices. AETHERIS Gold Stack is not built that way.
- No neural network, no trained model, no stored list of past trades or prices. Nothing in the code refers to a historical trade. The only dates in the program are the scheduled FOMC meetings used for the event pause.
- Sixteen modules with explicit conditions. Each module is one clear trading idea - session timing, momentum or market structure - with its own entry conditions, evaluated on live prices bar by bar.
- Researched on different data. The session modules were developed on gold data from 2018 onwards. The structure modules were researched on real-tick data of several brokers in 2025 and 2026 and checked on each of them.
- The same behaviour on every price feed. Because the EA follows rules and not a recording, it trades the same way on 16 brokers with different symbols, spreads and server clocks (see the tables below), and it keeps trading by the same rules in any period you test.
- The logic stays private. The exact conditions and thresholds are compiled in and are not published.
How a Stack Is Managed
- An engine module signals an entry and the first layer is opened.
- If price moves against the basket, the next layer of the same volume is added. The distance to each further layer is wider than the one before; five layers are the limit.
- When price reaches the common target of the basket, all layers are closed together.
- If price passes the stop behind the last layer, all layers are closed together. This is the largest loss a basket can take.
- Only then can the next basket be opened.
What to Expect
- Most baskets are closed at their target within minutes to a few hours. In the tests below about 80% of all positions were closed in profit.
- A basket that fills all five layers and hits its stop is rare, but it costs many average wins. At the Medium risk level such a basket costs roughly 8-14% of the balance (about 5-9% at Low, 10-18% at High). On a balance smaller than one step of the chosen level the EA trades the minimum 0.01 lot, and the share is higher. Choose the risk level with this figure in mind.
- The EA trades often - about 160 positions a month in the tests - so spread and execution quality matter.
Strategy Tester
MetaTrader 4 Strategy Tester, January 1 to September 25, 2026, M15, every tick (modelling quality 90%), initial deposit $1,000, spread 8 points. Price history: XAUUSD M1 bars of Tickmill imported into MT4, the same history as the MT5 run in table 2. Broker_Server_Clock was set to New York close because the imported history carries no tick volume for the automatic detection; all other inputs at their defaults.

2. The same rules on MT4 and MT5 (same Tickmill history, fixed 0.01 lot)
| Platform | Tester model | Net Profit (USD) | Profit Factor | Max Equity Drawdown | Total Trades | Entries identical to MT5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MetaTrader 4 | Every tick (from M1 bars) | +$3,963.92 | 3.98 | 7.79% | 1,423 | 1,420 / 1,423 (99.8%) |
| MetaTrader 5 | 1 minute OHLC | +$3,926.80 | 3.86 | 7.85% | 1,423 | - |
Both testers build their ticks from one-minute bars. With a fixed spread of 20 points instead of 8 the MT4 fixed-lot run makes +$3,635.80 (PF 3.24, maximal drawdown 9.89%), so test with your broker's real spread.

Results of the MT5 version in its every-tick-based-on-real-ticks mode; the MT4 tester has no real-tick mode.
The test periods lie inside the data the rules were developed on, so these tables show how the EA behaves on different broker feeds, not performance on unseen data. Use the live signal as the reference for real trading. Past performance is not an indicator of future results.

Risk Warning & Guidelines
- Automated trading involves substantial risk. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
- This EA adds to a position when price moves against it. The loss of a basket is limited by its stop, but a stopped basket is several times larger than an average win.
- Test the EA on a demo account or in the Strategy Tester with your broker's Gold symbol before trading real money.
- If other EAs run on the same account, give each of them its own Magic_Number, and do not close or modify the positions of this EA by hand.
- The daily loss limit and the maximum drawdown close baskets at a loss. A limit below the cost of one stopped basket (see What to Expect) stops trading often and lowers results. On prop-firm accounts, lower the lot with the Custom risk level so that a full basket stays inside the daily limit.
- Switching the basket stop off removes the limit on the loss of a single basket. Do it only together with a maximum drawdown.
