Ride To Sky EA is an automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor built around a structured sideway range → breakout → retest → confirmation trading process.
The EA is designed to avoid entering immediately on every breakout. It evaluates the quality of the price range, breakout strength, trend direction, market structure, retest behavior and confirmation conditions before opening a position.
By default, the EA uses the M15 timeframe for trade signals and the H1 timeframe for trend analysis. Both BUY and SELL trading are supported.

TRADING LOGIC
Ride To Sky EA continuously searches for a structured sideways price range.
The EA evaluates:
- Sideway box quality
- Repeated support and resistance touches
- Breakout candle strength
- Breakout body size
- Breakout wick quality
- EMA trend direction
- Market structure direction
- Momentum
- Retest confirmation
- Price-action confirmation
- Dynamic entry score
- BUY and SELL setup quality
After a valid breakout, the EA normally waits for price to retest the breakout area before considering an entry.
The purpose of this process is to reduce entries based only on temporary price spikes or weak breakouts.
The default breakout and retest engine uses ATR-based thresholds, breakout-strength scoring and price-action confirmation.
TREND AND MARKET STRUCTURE
Ride To Sky EA uses a higher-timeframe trend filter together with market structure analysis.
Default trend settings:
- Fast EMA: 50
- Slow EMA: 200
- Structure Lookback: 12
The EA combines trend direction and market structure with the breakout and retest setup instead of relying on a single indicator.
TRADE FREQUENCY MODES
Ride To Sky EA includes several trade-frequency profiles:
- Very Conservative
- Conservative
- Normal
- Aggressive
- Extreme
- Auto
The default profile is Normal.
Different modes adjust factors such as:
- Entry-score requirement
- Breakout-strength requirement
- Cooldown period
- Box-quality requirement
- Breakout-body requirement
- Price-action requirement
AUTO mode can adjust the effective trading profile according to account balance, equity drawdown and the configured maximum drawdown allowance.
CONTROLLED GROWTH LOT
Ride To Sky EA contains a Controlled Growth Lot system.
The growth system starts from the original account balance and can gradually increase the base lot when the account reaches configured growth thresholds.
Default behavior includes:
- First growth level at 150% of the starting balance
- Second growth level at 300% of the starting balance
- Later growth levels based on additional configured growth ratios
- Adjustable lot increase per completed growth stage
- Maximum growth lot limit
The EA also tracks the highest closed balance and can stop future lot upgrades when the account experiences a configured drawdown from that balance peak.
This system changes future entry lot sizing only. It does not automatically increase lot size because the previous trade lost.
GROWTH EQUITY RISK CAP
An additional equity-based protection layer can freeze new growth upgrades when floating equity drawdown becomes elevated.
The default configuration freezes new growth upgrades at a higher equity drawdown level and only allows them again after drawdown recovers to a lower resume threshold.
This creates hysteresis and helps prevent rapid switching between growth states during unstable account conditions.
DYNAMIC LOT RISK GUARD
Ride To Sky EA also includes a recoverable Dynamic Lot Risk Guard.
This feature is designed for the manual Aggressive trading profile.
It monitors closed-balance drawdown from a running balance peak and can reduce the lot multiplier when drawdown reaches configured levels.
As balance recovers toward the previous peak, lot size can progressively return toward its normal value.
This feature affects new entries only. It does not force-close existing positions.
DRAWDOWN PROTECTION
Ride To Sky EA contains several layers of drawdown control.
These include:
- Maximum account drawdown entry block
- Daily loss stop
- Consecutive-loss pause
- Aggressive-mode risk guard
- Optional Smart Drawdown Guard
- Growth drawdown protection
- Growth equity risk cap
- Dynamic lot reduction
The optional Smart Drawdown Guard is disabled by default and can be enabled after separate testing.
When enabled, it can tighten protection or request a risk exit according to configured floating-drawdown thresholds.
STOP LOSS, TAKE PROFIT AND POSITION MANAGEMENT
Ride To Sky EA uses several position-management mechanisms.
Available functions include:
- Dynamic Stop Loss
- Dynamic Risk/Reward
- Break Even
- ATR Trailing
- Swing Trailing
- Adaptive Take Profit
- Trend Decay Exit
- Maximum Loss Cut
- Fast Fake Breakout Exit
Default risk settings include ATR-based break-even and trailing logic together with adaptive take-profit behavior.
The EA can also modify the Stop Loss according to recent swing highs or swing lows when Swing Trailing is enabled.
FAKE BREAKOUT PROTECTION
The breakout engine includes fake-breakout monitoring.
If price breaks out but then closes back into the previous range or invalidates the expected direction for the configured number of confirmation bars, the setup can be reset.
The EA also includes an optional Fast Fake Breakout Exit for an already-open position.
SELL QUALITY FILTER
Ride To Sky EA includes an additional SELL-side quality-scoring system.
The score can use:
- ATR expansion
- Bearish market structure
- Bearish trend direction
- Weak-volatility penalties
The minimum SELL quality score can be adjusted from the inputs.
SPREAD AND EXECUTION PROTECTION
Before opening a new market order, Ride To Sky EA checks the current spread.
If spread exceeds the configured Maximum Allowed Spread, the EA blocks the new entry.
The EA also includes:
- Broker trading-session checks
- Symbol trade-direction checks
- Stop-level validation
- Freeze-level handling
- Broker tick-size normalization
- Margin-aware lot reduction
- Protection against immediate opposite re-entry after a close request
These controls are intended to improve compatibility across different brokers and symbol specifications.
TARGETED USD NEWS PROTECTION
Ride To Sky EA contains a targeted USD news filter.
Instead of blocking every economic-calendar event, the filter is designed to focus on selected event families.
Available event groups include:
- FOMC
- CPI
- PPI
- Non-Farm Employment / NFP
The default news protection window is:
- 30 minutes before
- 30 minutes after
The protection window can be adjusted from the inputs.
When a protected news event is active, the EA pauses new entries.
Existing positions are not automatically closed simply because the news filter becomes active.
FULL STATE RECOVERY
Ride To Sky EA includes a Full State Recovery system designed to reduce state loss after:
- MT5 restart
- VPS restart
- EA reload
- Temporary terminal interruption
- Chart restart
The recovery system can use:
- Persistent live-state snapshots
- Historical trade reconstruction
- Startup state scanning
- Recovery validation
- Optional fixed historical recovery start date
The EA can also block new entries if configured recovery fails.

A backtest cannot reproduce every live condition.
Live execution can differ because of:
- Spread changes
- Slippage

- Broker execution
- Trading-session conditions
- News volatility
- Server delays
