Understanding the Trading Strategy
ASIC Gold is a fully automated Expert Advisor that trades XAUUSD (Gold) using price action on the H1 chart. It reads the rhythm of gold's price waves and enters in the direction of the current wave when price makes a short pause against it — buying the dip while gold is pushing up, selling the bounce while gold is pushing down.
Every trade is a market order with a real Stop Loss and Take Profit sent to the broker the moment it opens. The system does not use grid or martingale, and never adds to a losing trade.
Stops and targets are set as a percentage of gold's price, so they automatically widen and tighten as the market moves — the EA stays in tune with gold whether it trades at 2,000 or 4,000. Each trade is sized from your chosen risk per trade and its own stop distance.
What this means for your trades: ASIC trades with the trend, not against it, and waits for a pullback instead of chasing price. It only trades during its built-in active hours, so some days have no trade at all — that is the strategy being selective, not the EA being idle. Not every pullback continues; some stop out for a controlled loss. The edge comes from the moves that do follow through, and from TURBO letting those winners pay more.
TURBO — Scale Into Winners, Not Losers
TURBO is a single on/off switch. When a trade moves into profit, TURBO adds extra positions in the same direction and pulls one shared stop loss for the whole group closer to price. The shared stop is calculated so that if price reverses, the whole group loses no more than the first trade alone was risking. When the Take Profit is hit, every position closes together — so a good move can pay several times what a single trade would.

Smart Trade Management
Beyond the fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit, ASIC manages every open trade on its own:
Visual trailing stop: once a trade is in profit, the EA follows price and locks in gains. The level is kept inside the EA, so the broker never sees it.
Rescue exit: if a trade goes against you, a hidden take-profit follows price so even a small bounce is enough to exit — with a small profit or a much smaller loss than the full stop.
Basket take-profit: optionally close everything at once when total floating profit reaches your target.
How ASIC Gold Protects Your Account
Hard stop loss: Every trade carries a real stop loss at the broker. TURBO only ever moves it closer — never further away.
Fixed maximum risk per trade: Adding TURBO positions never raises what a trade group can lose.
Max daily loss limit (prop-firm style): Measured on equity, so floating losses count immediately. If the limit is reached, the EA closes everything and pauses until the next day. Recommended: 3–5%.
News filter: No new trades around NFP and, optionally, FOMC. Works on any terminal language.
Spread filter: The EA pauses when the spread is abnormally wide, protecting you from poor fills in illiquid periods.
Friday auto-close: Optionally close all trades before the weekend to avoid Sunday-gap risk.
Min / max lot limits: A hard ceiling and floor on every trade's size.
No martingale, no grid: The EA never adds to a losing position.

Note on small accounts: Gold's high price means a small balance can force the EA up to the minimum 0.01 lot, which risks more than the percentage you set. On small accounts, lower the risk or turn TURBO off, and watch the first trades on a demo account.
