Support Resistance Zone Master is a display-only support and resistance indicator for MetaTrader 5. It detects price zones from historical highs and lows on a selectable timeframe, then plots them directly on the chart so you can see where the market has reacted before.
The indicator shows two types of levels:
- Current Support / Resistance — the single nearest support level below price and the single nearest resistance level above price, drawn as solid horizontal lines.
- Multiple levels (R1–R6 / S1–S6) — up to six resistance levels above price and six support levels below price, each shown with a value label, a dotted line, and a colored zone rectangle. The rectangle changes color once price trades through it, so you can see at a glance whether a level is still intact.
How levels are built:
- Highs and lows over a configurable lookback period are grouped into zones based on a zone width (set in pips, per timeframe).
- Each zone is filtered by a minimum touch count, so only levels that price has actually reacted to multiple times are kept.
- An optional minimum-reaction filter can require a certain bounce size before a touch counts as valid.
- Nearby zones are merged using a configurable multiplier of the zone width.
- A minimum gap (in pips) between adjacent R1–R6 / S1–S6 levels can be set, so the six levels stay meaningfully spread out instead of clustering together.
Main inputs:
- Zone detection timeframe and lookback bars
- Touch filter (enable/disable, minimum touch count)
- Level merge multiplier, reaction filter, minimum gap between levels
- Line colors and widths for current support/resistance
- Zone rectangle colors, fill, and opacity
- Zone width in pips, configurable per timeframe
This indicator does not place trades, does not generate buy/sell signals, and does not manage any account settings. It is a visual support/resistance tool intended to help with manual chart analysis and can be used together with your own trading rules on any symbol, including metals such as gold and silver where the pip size is automatically detected.
