Welcome

Maya Pro is a MetaTrader 5 chart indicator by MayaRaaz that shows trend direction, Buy and Sell signals with matching exits, and quiet "squeeze" periods when the market is going sideways. It draws everything on the price chart, so you can read it at a glance without extra windows.

Maya Pro shows you:

• Two trend lines — MayaFlow (blue) and MayaCore (orange-red).

• Entry and exit arrows — Buy, Buy Exit, Sell and Sell Exit.

• Squeeze markers — an orange square when a sideways phase starts and an aqua circle when it ends.

• An info panel — a short status summary in the top-left corner.

• Alerts — popup, sound, phone push notification or email when a signal appears.

Maya Pro is a decision aid, not an automatic trading system. It does not open or close trades for you; you decide whether to act on each signal.

Installing and attaching

Maya Pro installs through MetaTrader 5 itself; there is no separate file to download.

Try the free demo first

1. On the Maya Pro product page, click Free Demo. MetaTrader 5 opens and installs the demo.

2. Open the Strategy Tester (View → Strategy Tester, or Ctrl+R).

3. Choose Indicator, select Market → Maya Pro, then pick a symbol (for example XAUUSD) and a timeframe.

4. Tick Visual mode and press Start. Watch the lines, arrows and squeeze markers draw on past prices.

The demo runs only in the Strategy Tester. It cannot be attached to a live chart.

Install the full version

1. Buy or rent Maya Pro from the product page or the Market tab in MetaTrader 5.

2. Make sure you are logged in to your MQL5 account in MetaTrader 5 (Tools → Options → Community).

3. The indicator installs automatically and appears in the Navigator under Indicators → Market.

Each purchase includes a set number of activations. Every new computer you install on uses one.

Attach it to a chart

1. Open a chart of the symbol you trade.

2. In the Navigator, drag Maya Pro onto the chart (or double-click it).

3. Leave the settings at their defaults for your first session and click OK.

The defaults were developed on gold (XAUUSD) and work on any symbol and timeframe. Beginners usually find M15 to H1 easier to follow than M1, where signals come quickly and spread costs matter more.

Reading the chart

Everything Maya Pro draws falls into three groups: two lines, four arrows and two squeeze markers. Colours below are the defaults; you can change them on the Colors tab.

The two lines

Line

Default colour

What it tells you

MayaFlow

Blue

The faster trend line. It turns quickly and leads price. Buy signals come from price crossing this line.

MayaCore

Orange-red

The base line. It moves more slowly and shows the underlying direction. Sell signals come from price crossing this line.

As a quick rule: price above both lines with MayaFlow above MayaCore is an uptrend; price below both with MayaFlow below MayaCore is a downtrend. When the two lines tangle together, the market is usually going sideways.

The four arrows

Arrow

Default colour

Where it appears

Meaning

Buy ▲

Lime green

Below the candle

A candle closed above MayaFlow. A possible long entry.

Buy Exit ▼

Red

Above the candle

A candle closed back below MayaFlow. Close or protect a long trade.

Sell ▼

Pink

Above the candle

A candle closed below MayaCore. A possible short entry.

Sell Exit ▲

Yellow

Below the candle

A candle closed back above MayaCore. Close or protect a short trade.

Each Buy is followed by a Buy Exit before the next Buy, and each Sell by a Sell Exit. Long and short signals run independently, so a Buy and a Sell can both be open at the same time unless you switch on One direction at a time.

By default, arrows appear only after a candle has closed, so they do not repaint or disappear.

Dimmed arrows

Inside a squeeze, arrows are drawn in darker colours (olive, maroon, grey and dark gold) instead of the bright ones. A dimmed arrow is a warning: the market is sideways and that signal is more likely to be a false start.

Squeeze markers

Marker

Meaning

Orange square

A squeeze has started: the lines have pinched together or flattened. Expect choppy, back-and-forth price.

Aqua circle

The squeeze has ended: the lines are separating again and a candle has closed clearly on one side of MayaFlow. A new move may be starting.

The aqua circle does not tell you the direction of the new move. Use the next arrow and the position of price relative to the lines for that.

The info panel

The panel in the top-left corner summarises the latest closed candle:

• SQUEEZE = YES / no — whether the market is currently in a squeeze.

• PMR — how far apart the two lines are, measured against recent volatility. Low values (below about 0.5) mean the lines are pinched; values above about 0.7 mean they have separated.

• Trend — how far the lines have travelled over the last 20 candles. Below 1.00 reads FLAT; above reads trending.

• mode — the squeeze detection method in use.

How to trade with Maya Pro

The simplest way to use Maya Pro is to trade only in the direction the lines agree on, enter on a bright arrow, place a stop loss beyond the last swing, and exit on the matching exit arrow. The routines below are a starting point; practise them in the Strategy Tester or on a demo account before using real money.

Buy routine

1. Check the trend. Price is above MayaCore, and MayaFlow is above MayaCore or turning up through it. If an aqua circle (squeeze end) has just appeared, that is a good sign that a new move is starting.

2. Wait for a bright Buy arrow (lime green). Skip dimmed Buy arrows unless you are experienced.

3. Enter at the open of the next candle after the arrow.

4. Place the stop loss a little below the most recent swing low, or below MayaCore, whichever is further from price.

5. Exit when a Buy Exit arrow appears, or move your stop up behind each new swing low to lock in profit as the trend continues.

Sell routine

1. Check the trend. Price is below MayaCore, and MayaFlow is below MayaCore or turning down through it.

2. Wait for a bright Sell arrow (pink).

3. Enter at the open of the next candle.

4. Place the stop loss a little above the most recent swing high, or above MayaCore, whichever is further from price.

5. Exit when a Sell Exit arrow appears, or trail your stop down behind each new swing high.

Handling squeezes

• After an orange square, expect several arrows in both directions close together. Most of these are false starts.

• Many traders simply wait for the aqua circle before taking new trades.

• Do not ignore squeezes entirely: some of the strongest moves begin straight out of a tight squeeze. That is why arrows are dimmed rather than hidden by default.

Worked example: buy on gold (XAUUSD, M1)

On 26 Oct 2026, gold fell steadily from about 4,013 to 3,989, with price below both lines. Around 17:00 the lines crossed and pinched together (orange square), then separated again (aqua circle) as price closed above MayaFlow. Buy arrows had appeared at the low near 3,989 and again as price pushed through MayaFlow. A stop loss below the swing low at about 3,988 kept the risk small. Price then climbed with MayaFlow above MayaCore to about 4,025, where the lines began to flatten and Buy Exit arrows appeared.

Worked example: sell on gold (XAUUSD, M1)

Earlier the same day, around 15:15–15:31, the lines were tangled with several squeeze markers, showing a sideways market near 4,018–4,024. After the last squeeze, price closed below both lines and a Sell arrow appeared near 4,020. A stop loss above the recent swing high, around 4,023, limited the risk. Price then trended down below both lines to about 3,991, where Sell Exit arrows and a turn in MayaFlow marked the end of the move.

These examples were chosen to show the indicator working well. Many trades will not move this far, and some will hit the stop loss.

Risk management and realistic expectations

Maya Pro is a trend-following tool: most of its results come from a small number of strong trends, while many individual signals end as small losses or break-even trades. In historical testing on gold (M30), only about 25–33% of arrow trades were winners; the profit came from a handful of large moves. Plan for long runs of small losses and keep each one small.

• Always use a stop loss. Place it before you enter, at the level the routine suggests.

• Risk a small, fixed share of your account per trade. Many traders use 1% or less. Choose your lot size from the distance to your stop, not from how confident you feel.

• Let winners run. Exiting too early on the good trades is the most common way to turn this style of trading into a loss.

• Account for costs. Spread and commission matter, especially on M1 and M5. Test on your own broker's conditions.

• Practise first. Use the free demo in the Strategy Tester and then a demo account until you are comfortable with the routines.

• Expect losing streaks. Ten or more losing signals in a row are normal for trend-following methods.

Past results, including the examples in this guide, do not guarantee future results.

Settings reference

The defaults suit most users; change one setting at a time and check the result in the Strategy Tester. Settings are on the Inputs tab when you attach the indicator (or right-click the chart → Indicators List → Maya Pro → Edit).
