This Indicator is specialized to show currency strength acceleration for any symbols like Gold, Exotic Pairs, Commodities, Indexes or Futures. Is first of its kind, any symbol can be added to the 9th line to show true currency strength accelerating (Impulse or speed) of Gold, Silver, Oil, DAX, US30, MXN, TRY, CNH etc.

Built on new underlying algorithms it makes it even easier to identify and confirm potential trades. This is because it graphically shows whether the strength or weakness of a currency is accelerating or not and measures the speed of that acceleration - think of it like the speedometer in your car. When you accelerate things obviously happen faster which is the same in the Forex market i.e. if you pair currencies that are accelerating in the opposite directions you have identified a potentially profitable trade.

The dynamical Market Fibonacci 23 level is used as an alert trigger and will adapt to market activity. If the impulse hits the yellow trigger line you will receive the alert on MetaTrader or your email or push alert (phone). Then you know as a trader what to do. The pair and direction are already given. Just click on the alert button to switch to the pair or to open a new chart for your further analysis. The alert level can be changed by user input and 3 Sensitivity-levels can be chosen.

fix EXOTIC pair name (empty for XAUUSD and auto detect) (enter exotic pair name be fixed)
auto-get EXOTIC pair name from chart (do auto detect exotic pair name from the chart)
EXOTIC reverse line manually (Gold is reversed) (most products need be line-reversed because priced in USD)
autodetect EXOTIC to reverse line (Automates the function above. If USD is found as base currency like USDMXN, USDSEK, the line will not be reversed.
suffix for currency pairs (if EURUSD is called like EURUSDm then enter m)
choose quote currency for exotic pair (USD) You can now select the quote currency for gold or indices. While it is usually displayed in USD, in exceptional cases it may be e.g. EUR.

==== Indicator Settings

use currency specific characteristics (each currency will be handled by its own)
Sensitivity - Slow/Medium/Fast sensitivity.
Line width base and quote CS (make thicker the currency of the chart)
show USD line always thick (used with indexes...)
Line width other 6 CS (the other currencies which are not part of the chart)
Line other 6 CS dotted if width=1
EXOTIC Line width same other 6 CS (false: exotic line always thicker)
HIDE the other 6 CS lines (show only base and quote currency line)
HIDE EXOTIC line if symbol is not on chart (true: no exotic line if a currency selected)
draw bull and bear V-Line - Currency strength speed sentiment.
sGAP value for V-Line (higher=stronger).
show Bars back (how many candles back the indicator prints the currency lines)
Show CS labels end of line
show values in main=0 or sub-window=1.

==== Alert Settings

alerted chart open in new window - false for change chart in the same window.
alert on the live or closed candle.
CS-Impulse Trigger at market Fib (higher=stronger).
draw arrow for Impulse alert.
no Forex Alerts (only EXO)

==== General Alert Settings

popup Alerts - popup MetaTrader 4 alerts. It will tell strongest or weakest currency, value, possible trade pair.
send email alerts - receive alert email, enter your credentials in your MetaTrader 4.
send push alerts - to your phone.

==== Color settings

You know how to use it. Euro is white, please change if you use white chart background.

open support charts! - Special: to update automatically the MetaTrader 4 history, 7+1 support charts will be opened! This function can be deactivated.
run support charts also on cross pairs!.

Tips

Use my template.
The Alert trigger value can be edited at any Market Fibonacci level in settings. It can be any number. The default is 28. The yellow line shows the level on the chart.
Then we see the numbers of the highest and lowest Impulse value.
Followed with the Currency which reached the trigger value (if there is any).
A button will then pop up with a suggested pair. By click on it, it will change the pair on the chart. The button may change or disappear if conditions are no longer met. Still, you can have a look at the chart.
Use "open chart in new window" if you do not want to interrupt the indicator.

I welcome you to a brand new indicator, you will not find anywhere comparable.

Many clients asked me to make an indicator similar to "Advanced Currency IMPULSE with ALERT" but including Gold or indices etc. similar to "Currency Strength Exotics".

Here you go!

Please have your MT4 CHART HISTORY be ready for the time frame you want to use. The indicator need CHART HISTORY for this pairs:

AUDUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, NZDUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, USDJPY, XAUUSD.
It will download that data with update quote charts in the background.

Just wait a while if it is the first time.

Doesn't name your broker XAUUSD for Gold? Then enter the name for gold in "fix EXOTIC pair name" (including possible suffix).

If your broker uses a suffix ("EURUSDm") enter ("m") in the input parameter "suffix for currency pairs".

Set the right input parameters. The first steps:

How does your broker call Gold? If it is not XAUUSD use below input:

fix EXOTIC pair name

If you broker calls XAUUSD as "GOLD" enter GOLD in “EXOTIC pair name” input ! (include any suffix)
Let it empty if the name is XAUUSD or if you use another symbol on the chart. For other symbols (like DAX) let it empty. For EURSEK enter USDSEK.

auto-get EXOTIC pair name from chart

Drag and drop any symbol from Market Watch into the chart. The indicator will automatically switch to the new symbol.

EXOTIC reverse line

If you want to reverse the golden line. (Gold strength is already reversed but you can undo if you reverse again, then set the input below (autodetect) to false.)

autodetect EXOTIC to reverse line

This is now automated. If USD is the base currency the line is not reversed (USDMXN). For commodities, indexes, crypto etc. which USD is the quote currency (BTCUSD) the line is reversed.

suffix for currency pairs (EURUSDm=m)

If your broker uses a suffix enter it here. (If EURUSD is called like EURUSDm then enter m). This is important!

choose quote currency for exotic pair (USD)

(NEW) You can now select the quote currency for gold or indices. While it is usually displayed in USD, in exceptional cases it may be e.g. EUR or GBP.

Choose one of the 3 sensitivity modes (slow - medium - fast).

Sensitivity is the reaction time for speed/acceleration of currency strength calculation. That might be to technical. Slow means it reacts slower and fast means faster. The default is slow. Choose the one you like depending on your trading style. Beginners should start with slow.

To change the input parameter double click the line and then click the small arrow to open the menu.

Line width base and quote CS

Here you can change the line thickness. It will effect only 2 currencies, the base and quote currency which is part of the actual chart. Usually, it is used a bigger number (1 to 5) then the input below. If you change the symbol it will automatically switch the size to the new 2 currencies.

Line width other 6 CS

Here you can change the line thickness. It will affect the rest of the 6 currencies, which are NOT part of the actual chart. Usually, it is used a smaller number (1 to 5) then the input above. If you change the symbol it will automatically switch the size.

Line other 6 CS dotted if width=1

Here you can change the above-mentioned lines dotted if the line width is 1. It will affect the rest of the 6 currencies, which are NOT part of the actual chart.

HIDE the other 6 CS lines (show only base and quote CS)

Here you can completely hide the other 6 currencies, which are NOT part of the actual chart.

Used with symbols like Gold, Commodities, Indexes or Futures. Usually those are priced in USD. Set to false if you use only Forex.

HIDE EXOTIC line if symbol is not on chart

If the indicator is used on Forex the 9h line will change to Gold if you did not edit otherwise (see input for " fix EXOTIC pair name"). Set to true: hide exotic line if a currency selected.

Showing currency strength acceleration momentum sentiment (sGAP = single GAP). Here you can turn off the drawing for the vertical line (= false) if you do not want to show it.

This is a 2nd input. It is not the same function as Impulse Trigger. The function will read only the symbol of the chart with the base and quote currency. The value represents an Impulse strength/speed for the actual chart. You can set lower to get more and earlier lines or higher to have a stronger filter.

How to use

show Bars back
show buttons
Show CS labels

show Bars back (how many candles back the indicator draws)

Here you can change the number of candles the indicator will draw on the chart. I advice to not use further back on a chart than 1000 bars.

show buttons

Set to false will hide the currency buttons. Those may not be needed if you combine together with Currency Strength Exotics indicator.

Show CS labels

Set to false will hide the labels on the currency lines.

show values in main=0 or subwindow=1

The Value display can be moved into a sub-window (= 1 or 2).

When clicking on the alert-button: Set false for change the chart in the same window. Set to true will open the pair in a new window.

alert on the live or closed candle

An Alert on the live candle can give you an earlier entry, but via historical view, it is not available to know if there was a hit or not.

CS-Impulse Trigger at market Fib (higher=stronger)

This is main value for the alert function of the trigger line. The value represents the Market Fibonacci level when an alert is triggered. The Impulse alert will tell the best pair, one out of the 28+1 possible pairs. You can set it lower to get more and earlier signals or higher to have a stronger filter. You might use higher values up to 50 for volatile symbols or indices.

It is similar but not the same as the function above. It wasn't necessarily an alert for the current pair, but for one of its base or quote currencies.

no Forex Alerts (only EXO)

If "no Forex Alerts" is set to true, alerts for the 28 Forex pairs will be skipped to avoid duplication when using the indicator on multiple indices.

Euro is white, please change it if you use a white chart background. Better for the eyes - if you trade a lot - is a dark background or use my template.

It will open automatically 7+1 support charts in the background and switch the timeframe on them when the indicator is applied to another timeframe. If you use a default template with indicators on it is advised to go to these charts and delete all indicators from it, after that leave them alone to do its job. I advice to install my template for default. You can now they minimize and ignore.

The chart are for updating external currency quotes.
Remove all indicators from those chart. Keep it minimized.

This function is activated by default.

If you own Currency Strength EXOTICS indicator you need this function only active on one indicator (one per timeframe used).

Do not use the charts with the red letters on. Minimize it and ignore.

For what do we need that? The 7 USD-pairs are the most important data the indicator needs to calculate all the 8 currency strength lines. To have those charts in the background will speed up the data feeds from your broker and make it faster for the indicator to read and make sure always to be updated. Data should CONTINUOUSLY be updated.

Use a higher number to make the arrow bigger (1 to 5).

If you have a big 4k monitor use this inputs to correct font and labels smaller or bigger.

If you have a big 4k monitor use this inputs to correct pixel.

You could use Arial instead of Arial Black for smaller letters.

When apply the indicator on a new pair or timeframe this input gives some time to download necessary chart data before it gives an possible alert.

better CPU use, pause on ticks (2-200)

If the user only need values on closed candle he can set above input higher to lower CPU use. If he want instant values disable with 0. For higher timeframes frequent calculations are not needed then set the input higher. At least after a candle close all equations will be done.

Comma separated pair exclude list (no alert)

Exclude list for alerts. If you do not want to receive alerts for pairs like NZDCHF or CHFJPY, then add them to the input with a comma-separated list (without a suffix and upper lower case sensitive). Example: NZDCHF, CHFJPY

show line always bold (Comma separated CS list)

Use it for thicker currency lines of your choice e.g. EUR,GBP
An application could be to show "risk on" assets like JPY & USD against "risk off" assets like CAD & AUD. Then add into the above-mentioned input the comma-separated list: JPY,USD,CAD,AUD The sequence does not matter.
