Gold MTF Trend Tighten Pro MT5
Gold MTF Trend Tighten Pro MT5 is an algorithmic trading system designed for XAUUSD (Gold) on the H1 timeframe with H4 macro trend filtering. It is designed to reduce false intraday breakouts during higher-timeframe consolidation. The Tighten edition moves the stop loss to breakeven earlier and trails at a shorter distance than the baseline edition.
Test results (strategy tester)
- 7-gate check, standard tier: All 7 checks completed with Model=0 real ticks over 2021–2026: 246 trades, profit factor 1.83, net result +$808.44 (+8.08%). Past test results do not guarantee future performance.
- Drawdown in test (1.32% max equity): Over 5 years of historical gold real ticks, equity drawdown did not exceed 1.32%, with a recovery factor of 6.01 in the test window.
- Out-of-sample segment (2024–2026): Profit factor 2.39, net result +$680.60 over 118 trades, win rate 66.67% in that segment.
- Multi-timeframe structure: H1 continuation entries are taken only when aligned with the H4 macro EMA trend structure (50/200).
- Tighten exits (BE 0.5 ATR / Trail 2.5 ATR): The stop loss moves to breakeven after +0.5× ATR, with a 2.5× ATR trailing distance.
- Risk settings: Position size is derived from an equity risk percentage (0.25% default). No Martingale, no grid, no averaging. New entries are blocked at 23:00 server time (rollover filter).
