Overview
Gold E Drill MT5 is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 with parameters highly optimized on XAUUSD that combines a smart grid system with intelligent market condition filtering. The EA does not enter trades randomly — it waits for specific market conditions to align before placing any position, and uses a structured grid approach to manage and recover trades effectively.
* Note that the EA doesn't always trade. Not everyday it will trade, that means there can be a day or a week without it trading at all. Be patient!

Adaptive Lot Scaling — The EA automatically scales its lot size based on your account balance. Set your base balance and the EA adjusts position sizing proportionally as your account grows, keeping the growth consistently be curve graph while maintaining decent risk for low balance accounts without manual intervention.

Smart Grid System — When the market moves against an open position, the EA systematically opens additional positions at calculated intervals. Once the overall basket reaches a combined profit target, all positions on that side are closed together, turning drawdown situations into possible profitable outcomes.

Intelligent Entry Conditions — The EA does not open trades on every tick. Multiple internal market condition checks run in the background before any entry is triggered, ensuring the EA only acts when the environment is suitable. Its Entry Conditions also automatically scale on the balance you have. (Optional)

Layered Position Protection — Every position is managed by an automatic exit system that helps making a possible profitability.

Spike & Spread Protection — The EA automatically pauses new entries during unusual volatility events and will not place orders when broker spread exceeds your defined limit, protecting your account during news and unstable market conditions.
Requirements & Recommendations *
VPS Recommended — This EA must run continuously 24/5. A Virtual Private Server with a stable low-latency connection is strongly recommended to ensure uninterrupted trade management and no missed grid levels. (This EA doesn't always trade, it only trades on the right condition causing it to not do the consistent trade so electricity bills might not be worth it for any personal computers)
Low Spread Broker Required — Use ECN account with the lowest spread possible (ideally 0–3 points on major pairs). Since the grid system relies on precise price intervals, high spreads will directly reduce profitability.
Recommended Pair: XAUUSD.
Recommended Timeframe: Currently, timeframes are irrelevant. Mount on any timeframes.
Recommended/Minimum Initial Balance: 100-300$ — This EA has been optimized on a low-spread account with 300$ initial deposit, however at around 100$ also works. It mostly depends on settings, try adjusting them.
Recommended/Minimum Leverage: 1:500 (or more) — At least 1:500 leverage is recommended to give the grid system enough margin headroom across multiple open levels. Lower leverage risks margin issues during active grid sequences. (The more leverage gives more profitability according to tests, try adjusting them to your likings.)

| SafeMode | Turn the safe mode on or off. When enabled, the trade's possible profitability may be hugely reduced in an exchange for a lesser balance drawdown. |
EnableAutoLotBaseBalance | Turn "Auto Lot Base Balance" system on or off. When disabled, the EA will use a consistent lotting system. |
| AutoLotBaseBalance | Reference balance used to calculate automatic lot scaling. Set this to your initial deposit or any amount for proportional position sizing as your balance changes. |
InitialLot | The base lot size the EA starts with before any scaling is applied. |
SlippagePoints | Maximum tolerated slippage in points when executing orders. |
MaxSpreadPoints | If the broker spread exceeds this value, no new orders will be placed. |
EnableGrid | Turn the grid recovery system on or off. When disabled, the EA operates with single entries only. |
MaxGridLevels | The maximum number of grid positions allowed per direction. Controls how deep the grid can go. |
MaxLotHardCap | The absolute maximum lot size per position regardless of scaling. Acts as a hard safety ceiling. |

This EA was never meant to be on-sale in the first place (intended for my personal usages) but I need fundings, if the price is to be changed, the price will never be down nor discounted, thus whenever I feel like enough, the EA's price will eventually be raised to the Market's ceiling price.
