My Journey in the Financial Market
I began my journey in the financial market in 2006, at a time when access to complete and well-structured educational materials on the subject was scarce. Faced with this gap, my learning came largely through self-directed study and hands-on experience. - Версия: 2.20

Description, Methodology, and Risk Management
An automated trading system specifically developed for XAUUSD (Gold vs. US Dollar), focused on trend-following and identifying potential trading opportunities across the H1, M30, M15, and M5 timeframes.
The system features an operational framework consisting of entry triggers, Stop Loss mechanisms, and risk-reduction features designed to establish objective criteria for trade execution.
Its methodology combines concepts of price structure, moving average positioning, and confluence between different technical studies, refined through years of observation and analysis of gold market behavior.
The objective is to provide a systematic tool to assist in identifying potential trading opportunities, managing open positions, and controlling risk exposure in accordance with the system's predefined operating conditions.
Risk Protection and Risk Management Mechanism
One of the system's key features is the implementation of a configurable risk range between 0.5% and 2%, designed as an additional layer of protection for the user.
This feature allows users to adjust their trading exposure parameters within the limits established in the trading robot, promoting more prudent capital allocation and disciplined trade management.
Users are advised to fully understand the risk parameters, operational limits, and system functionality before deploying the robot on a live trading account. It is important to verify whether the configured percentage applies to risk per trade, cumulative exposure, or another criterion defined in the technical implementation.
Risk Disclaimer and Future Performance
Historical studies and market behavior observed over previous periods do not guarantee future profits. Market conditions can change, and past performance does not ensure that similar results will be achieved in the future.
For this reason, historical backtesting, out-of-sample validation, and demo account testing are recommended before deploying the system in a live trading environment.
Prudence is essential when determining the capital to be used, configuring system parameters, and managing financial exposure. Even with protective mechanisms in place, no automated trading system can eliminate the risks inherent in financial markets or guarantee the preservation of capital.
Informed use, rigorous testing, and responsible risk management are essential when evaluating the system's suitability for each user's trading profile.
Risk Protection and Risk Management Mechanism
The system features a protection mechanism that allows risk parameters to be configured within a range of 0.5% to 2%, giving users the flexibility to adjust their trading exposure according to their individual risk tolerance and trading profile, while remaining within the limits implemented in the trading robot.
This feature is designed to assist in managing financial exposure and promoting the prudent use of capital, serving as an additional layer of protection during trade execution.
Before using the system, users are advised to fully understand the configuration parameters and operational limits, verifying how the selected percentage is applied in practice, whether on a per-trade basis, to cumulative exposure, or according to another criterion defined in the technical implementation.
Risk Warning: Protective mechanisms and risk limits do not eliminate the possibility of losses or guarantee the full preservation of capital. Historical backtesting, out-of-sample validation, and testing on a demo account are recommended before deploying the system on a live trading account.
Responsible use, continuous performance evaluation, and disciplined risk management are essential for a well-informed assessment of the system's performance and suitability.
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL — LONG-TERM BUY AND HOLD EASubject: Development and Research of an Expert Advisor for Automated Long-Term Investment Strategies
1. Project Objective
Develop and evaluate an Expert Advisor (EA) for the MetaTrader 5 platform, based on the principles of the Buy and Hold strategy, with a focus on maintaining positions over extended periods and identifying long-term market trends.
The proposal aims to investigate the feasibility of an automated system capable of identifying favorable entry conditions, maintaining positions during significant directional movements, and managing market exposure according to predefined objective criteria.
Unlike systems designed to execute frequent trades, the EA will seek opportunities to follow trends over extended periods while avoiding premature exits triggered by temporary market corrections.
The development process will include transparent rules for entering, maintaining, and closing positions, as well as risk management mechanisms and capital protection measures.
The validation phase will be essential to determine whether the methodology demonstrates consistent results across different market cycles and whether it offers advantages compared with an appropriate passive investment benchmark.
It is important to emphasize that the system cannot guarantee future profitability. Results obtained from backtests, simulations, or historical market periods do not guarantee similar performance under real market conditions. Factors such as volatility, changes in market trends, trading costs, and economic conditions may significantly affect results. Therefore, the development and use of the EA should be supported by rigorous testing, continuous evaluation, and appropriate risk management.
The ultimate objective is to build an automated research and trading tool that combines the long-term investment philosophy of Buy and Hold with the operational discipline, risk management, and historical evaluation capabilities provided by automation.
