ROX XAU — Expert Advisor for XAUUSD M15

ROX XAU is a trend-following robot for gold (XAUUSD) on 15-minute charts.
It waits for the price to pull back from the mean, confirms the reversal using the
DEMA vs. FRAMA crossover, and enters only in the direction of the major trend. Each
trade is executed with predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels. The robot does
not use martingale, grid strategies, or loss recovery methods: it handles one
trade at a time.
HOW IT WORKS
- Entry: DEMA vs. FRAMA crossover after the price exits the Envelope (0.10%)
- Trend filter: 50 EMA on H4 (buys only in uptrends, sells only in downtrends)
- Strength filters: PMax on H4 and ADX between 20 and 28 (avoids sideways markets and overextended moves)
- Take Profit: US$ 20 | Stop Loss: US$ 120 (based on gold price)
- One position at a time, always with a defined SL
TESTER RESULTS (MT5, real ticks, fixed 0.01 lot, Jan 2020 – Sep 2026)
- 242 trades, ~90% win rate

Important: each winning trade yields US$ 20 per 0.01 lot, and each Stop Loss costs US$ 120
per 0.01 lot. One stop loss wipes out the gains from six winning trades. Sequences of 2 or 3
stop losses do occur and are factored into the results above.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Fixed lot size or lot size based on account % (LOT_RISCO): lot size scales with the balance
- Reference: 0.01 lot for every US$ 1,000 of balance (InpRiskPct = 12)
- Stop-out protection: SL loss never exceeds 25% of the account (lot size is automatically capped)
- Margin check before every trade entry
