TP1 trades, and let the rest run to TP3
Recommended symbol: XAUUSD or gold under any broker naming.
Recommended timeframe: M5 as the primary choice, M15 also supported.
Not recommended: M1 on gold.
Account type: any. Standard, cent, ECN or raw spread.
A note for funded and prop firm accounts. There is no grid, no martingale,
and every signal carries a fixed stop loss, which is what most firm rules
require. The drawdown figure above was measured at 1 percent risk per trade.
If your firm enforces a maximum drawdown near 10 percent, use 0.5 percent
risk or less so that a normal losing run stays inside your limit.
INPUT PARAMETERS
Signal engine
- Scalping engine: which engine generates signals. Pullback is the tested
and recommended setting. Default: Pullback
- Minimum confluence score: the score a setup must reach, from 0 to 100.
Default: 65
- Only trade with the higher timeframe trend: rejects any signal against the
higher timeframe bias. Default: true
- Cooldown bars between signals: minimum bars between two signals. Default: 3
- Block repeated signals in the same direction: allows only one live setup per
direction at a time. Default: true
- Max signals per day: daily cap, 0 means unlimited. Default: 0
- Bars of history to analyse: how far back arrows and statistics are
calculated. Default: 3000
Trend and momentum
- Fast EMA period. Default: 21
- Slow EMA period. Default: 50
- Trend EMA period. Default: 200
- Higher timeframe for bias: Auto selects one step above your chart.
Default: Auto
- RSI period. Default: 14
- ADX period. Default: 14
- Minimum ADX: the trend strength a setup must have. Default: 18
- Stochastic %K, %D and slowing. Defaults: 8, 3, 3
- ATR period: drives every distance in the indicator. Default: 14
- Volume average period. Default: 20
- Volume surge factor: required volume versus its average, 1.0 disables it.
Default: 1.15
- Swing lookback: bars used to measure structure and the impulse. Default: 12
Setup quality, the anti chop block
- Minimum impulse leg in ATR: how strong the move before the pullback must
be. This is the main frequency control. Raise it to trade less, lower it
to trade more. Default: 2.2
- Minimum retracement of the leg: rejects pullbacks that are too shallow.
Default: 0.18
- Maximum retracement of the leg: rejects pullbacks that have gone too far.
Default: 0.78
- Maximum range of the base in ATR: used by the optional breakout engine.
Default: 2.6
- Minimum ATR as a multiple of the spread: refuses signals when the spread is
too large for the current range. Default: 6.0
- Raise the score bar when volatility is weak: demands a higher score in quiet
conditions. Default: true
Risk, stop loss and targets
- Stop loss mode: market structure with an ATR buffer, a pure ATR multiple, or
a fixed number of points. Default: Structure
- SL ATR multiple: used in ATR mode. Default: 1.30
- SL ATR buffer beyond the swing: used in structure mode. Default: 0.35
- SL fixed points: used in fixed mode. Default: 200
- Minimum SL size in ATR: prevents a stop that is too tight. Default: 0.80
- Maximum SL size in ATR: prevents a stop that is too wide. Default: 3.50
- Take profit mode: multiples of the stop, multiples of ATR, or fixed points.
Default: multiples of the stop
- TP1, TP2, TP3. Defaults: 1.00, 1.80 and 3.00 times the stop
- Risk per trade percent: drives the suggested lot size only. The indicator
never places an order. Default: 1.0
Market filters
- Max spread in points: 0 uses the automatic ATR based limit instead.
Default: 0
- Automatic spread limit as a percentage of ATR. Default: 12.0
- Minimum volatility as a percentage of average ATR, 0 disables it.
Default: 55.0
- Enable trading session filter. Default: false
- Session 1, 2 and 3 in server time. Defaults: 07:00-11:00, 13:00-17:00, empty
- Skip Monday and Skip Friday. Defaults: false
- Pause around high impact news, using the MetaTrader calendar. Default: false
- News minutes before and after. Defaults: 15 and 15
Visuals
- Show signal arrows. Default: true
- Buy and sell arrow codes. Defaults: 233 and 234
