Tesla M30 Trend Momentum
Tesla M30 Trend Momentum is an automated Expert Advisor designed for Tesla-related stock instruments on the MetaTrader 5 platform.
The EA analyzes M30 market data using a combination of trend, momentum and price-action indicators. Instead of relying on a single indicator, it uses a flexible multi-condition scoring system to identify potential BUY and SELL opportunities.
TRADING STRATEGY
The Expert Advisor evaluates four primary conditions:
1. EMA Trend
2. RSI Momentum
3. MACD Direction
4. M30 Candle Direction
By default, at least 3 out of 4 conditions must support the same direction before a trading signal can be generated.
BUY LOGIC
A BUY score is generated from the following conditions:
- EMA 20 is above EMA 50
- RSI is at or above 53
- MACD Main is above the MACD Signal line
- The analyzed M30 candle is bullish
When at least 3 conditions support BUY and the BUY score is stronger than the SELL score, the EA can open a BUY position.
SELL LOGIC
A SELL score is generated from the following conditions:
- EMA 20 is below EMA 50
- RSI is at or below 47
- MACD Main is below the MACD Signal line
- The analyzed M30 candle is bearish
When at least 3 conditions support SELL and the SELL score is stronger than the BUY score, the EA can open a SELL position.

Timeframe: M30
Fast EMA: 20
Slow EMA: 50
RSI Period: 14
BUY RSI Level: 53
SELL RSI Level: 47
MACD Fast: 12
MACD Slow: 26
MACD Signal: 9
ATR Period: 14
TESLA VOLATILITY ADAPTATION
Tesla can experience relatively strong intraday price movements.
For this reason, the default Stop Loss uses a wider ATR multiplier:
ATR Stop Loss Multiplier: 1.80
The actual Stop Loss distance dynamically adapts to current market volatility.
STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT
Stop Loss is calculated dynamically using ATR while also respecting the broker's minimum stop distance, freeze level, tick size and current spread.
The default Risk/Reward Ratio is:
1:1
Take Profit is calculated from the effective Stop Loss distance.
This means the strategy normally targets approximately equal price distances between:
Entry → Stop Loss
and
Entry → Take Profit
Actual levels can be adjusted when necessary to satisfy broker trading requirements.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The Expert Advisor includes automatic risk-based position sizing.
Default settings:
Risk Per Trade: 0.50%
Maximum Lot: 1.00
Risk/Reward Ratio: 1:1
Position size is calculated using the available free margin, selected risk percentage, Stop Loss distance and the symbol specifications supplied by the broker.
An optional fixed lot mode is also available.
CONSECUTIVE LOSS PROTECTION
The EA includes protection against consecutive losing trades.
Default settings:
Consecutive Loss Limit: 3
Pause After Loss Limit: 60 minutes
After three consecutive losing trades belonging to this Expert Advisor, new entries are paused for 60 minutes.
After the pause period expires, trading can automatically resume.
A profitable closed trade resets the consecutive-loss counter.
OPTIONAL VOLUME FILTER
The Expert Advisor includes an optional volume confirmation filter.
Default settings:
Volume Filter: Disabled
Volume Lookback: 20
Volume Multiplier: 1.15
When enabled, the EA compares current tick volume with the average volume of previous M30 candles.
The filter is disabled by default to avoid making the entry conditions unnecessarily restrictive.
POSITION MANAGEMENT
The EA uses a unique Magic Number to identify its own trades.
Default Magic Number:
2026095002
By default, only one position belonging to this Expert Advisor is allowed on the same symbol at a time.
FLEXIBLE TESLA SYMBOL SUPPORT
Tesla instruments can use different symbol names depending on the broker.
Examples may include:
TSLA
TSLA.US
TSLA#
TESLA
The Expert Advisor trades the symbol of the chart on which it is attached rather than relying on one fixed broker symbol.
An optional Tesla symbol filter is included and is disabled by default for broader broker compatibility.

- Terminal trading permission
- Expert Advisor trading permission
- Account trading permission
- Symbol trading mode
- Broker trading session
- Current spread
- Available free margin
- Broker Stop Loss requirements

The Expert Advisor does not use:
- Martingale
- Grid trading
- Averaging down
- Recovery lot multiplication
