Nvidia M30 Trend Momentum
Nvidia M30 Trend Momentum is an automated Expert Advisor designed for NVIDIA-related stock instruments on the MetaTrader 5 platform.
The Expert Advisor analyzes M30 market data and combines trend, momentum and price-action conditions to identify potential trading opportunities.
The strategy is designed around a flexible scoring system rather than requiring every technical condition to be satisfied at the same time.
TRADING STRATEGY
The Expert Advisor evaluates four main conditions:
1. EMA Trend
2. RSI Momentum
3. MACD Direction
4. M30 Candle Direction
By default, at least 3 out of these 4 conditions must agree before a trading signal can be generated.
BUY CONDITIONS
The BUY score is increased when:
- EMA 20 is above EMA 50
- RSI is at or above the configured bullish level
- MACD Main is above the MACD Signal line
- The analyzed M30 candle is bullish
When at least 3 conditions support BUY and the BUY score is stronger than the SELL score, the EA can open a BUY position.
SELL CONDITIONS
The SELL score is increased when:
- EMA 20 is below EMA 50
- RSI is at or below the configured bearish level
- MACD Main is below the MACD Signal line
- The analyzed M30 candle is bearish
When at least 3 conditions support SELL and the SELL score is stronger than the BUY score, the EA can open a SELL position.

Timeframe: M30
Fast EMA: 20
Slow EMA: 50
RSI Period: 14
BUY RSI Level: 52
SELL RSI Level: 48
MACD Fast EMA: 12
MACD Slow EMA: 26
MACD Signal Period: 9
ATR Period: 14
VOLUME FILTER
An optional volume filter is included.
The volume filter compares current tick volume with the average volume of previous M30 candles.
It is disabled by default so that the entry system does not become unnecessarily restrictive.
Users can enable and configure the volume filter from the Expert Advisor inputs.
STOP LOSS
Stop Loss is dynamically calculated using ATR (Average True Range).
Default ATR Stop Loss Multiplier: 1.50
The EA also considers the symbol's spread, tick size, broker minimum stop level and freeze level when calculating valid protective levels.
TAKE PROFIT
The default Risk/Reward Ratio is 1:1.
Take Profit is calculated from the effective Stop Loss distance.
This means the default strategy aims to maintain approximately the same price distance between:
Entry → Stop Loss
and
Entry → Take Profit
Actual order levels can be adjusted when necessary to comply with broker trading requirements.
AUTOMATIC LOT CALCULATION
The EA supports automatic risk-based position sizing.
Default Risk Per Trade: 0.50%
Position size is calculated using:
- Available free margin
- Selected risk percentage
- Entry price
- Stop Loss level
- Broker contract specifications
- Symbol tick value
An optional fixed lot mode is also available.
Default Maximum Lot: 1.00
CONSECUTIVE LOSS PROTECTION
The Expert Advisor includes consecutive-loss protection.
Default settings:
Consecutive Loss Limit: 3
Trading Pause: 60 minutes
After three consecutive losing trades belonging to this EA, new entries are paused for 60 minutes.
After the pause period expires, the EA can automatically resume trading.
A profitable closed trade resets the consecutive-loss counter.
POSITION MANAGEMENT
The Expert Advisor uses its own Magic Number to identify its trades.
By default, only one position belonging to this EA is allowed on the same symbol at a time.
This helps separate its position management from other Expert Advisors using different Magic Numbers.
FLEXIBLE NVIDIA SYMBOL SUPPORT
Different brokers may use different names for NVIDIA-related instruments.

The EA uses the symbol of the chart on which it is attached.
An optional NVIDIA symbol filter is also available and is disabled by default for broader broker compatibility.
TRADING SESSION PROTECTION
The EA checks whether the current broker trading session is open before attempting a trade.
This is especially important for stock instruments because their trading hours may be more restricted than continuously traded markets.

Before attempting an order, the Expert Advisor checks:
- Terminal trading permission
- Expert Advisor trading permission
- Account trading permission
- Symbol trading mode
- Current trading session
- Spread conditions
- Available margin
- Broker Stop Loss and Take Profit requirements
- Existing EA positions
The strategy does not use:
- Martingale
- Grid trading
- Averaging down
- Recovery lot multiplication
