Interactive Chart Controls
The main settings can be changed directly from the chart panel without repeatedly opening the Expert Advisor properties.
Enter the desired values for:
Risk %
Sets the percentage of balance or equity allocated to the planned position.
Fixed Risk
Sets a specific amount of account currency to use as the maximum planned risk.
Stop Distance
Defines the distance between Entry and Stop Loss in points.
Risk : Reward
Defines the relationship between the Stop Loss distance and Take Profit distance.
After entering the values, press APPLY SETTINGS to update the planning levels.
Three Risk Calculation Modes
The calculator provides three ways to define risk.
Balance % calculates position size using a percentage of the current account balance.
Equity % calculates position size using a percentage of current account equity.
Fixed $ uses a fixed amount of account currency.
For example, a trader can select 1% account risk, position the Stop Loss at the desired technical level, and let the calculator determine the corresponding lot size.
Drag the Levels Directly on the Chart
Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit can also be adjusted visually.
Move the Stop Loss and the calculator updates the stop distance and position-size calculation.
Move Take Profit and the displayed risk-to-reward ratio changes.
This makes it useful for quickly testing different trade structures before making a trading decision.
Quick Risk-to-Reward Planning
The R:R 1:2 and R:R 1:3 buttons provide convenient preset target distances.
For example, with a 500-point Stop Loss:
1:2 corresponds to a 1,000-point reward distance.
1:3 corresponds to a 1,500-point reward distance.
The trader can also enter a custom ratio.
Broker-Aware Position Sizing
Position sizes are calculated using the trading specifications supplied by the broker, including tick size, tick value, minimum volume and volume step.
If the requested risk would require a position smaller than the broker's minimum lot, the panel displays BELOW MINIMUM instead of automatically increasing the position and exceeding the requested risk.
Important
Kiwi Position Risk Calculator is a calculation and trade-planning tool.
It does not automatically open trades and does not modify existing positions.
The Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit lines shown by the calculator are planning levels. Traders remain responsible for placing and managing their own orders.
Calculations can vary between brokers because contract size, tick value, minimum volume and other symbol specifications may differ.
Always verify the calculated values before trading.
Suggested Use
Attach Kiwi Position Risk Calculator to the chart you intend to trade.
Choose BUY or SELL, select the preferred risk calculation mode, set the amount of risk, adjust the Stop Loss and target, and review the calculated position size before deciding whether to enter the trade.
The tool is intended to make position sizing, Stop Loss planning and risk-to-reward evaluation quicker and easier directly from the MT5 chart.
