Im unable to attach more than 12 chart IDs to CapEquityGuardEA. Is there a limit? I have
usually 28-35 charts open and was hoping to disable all charts when Equity had reached either target. Please explain. You can see below in the
image how the last chart id values appear truncated as if there's no more room for more digits
Please be aware that this Equity Guard EA is limited to disabling 12 open charts only. According to developer the max number of input characters on
MQL5 limits the total number of open charts to disabled/enable to only 12. Such issue is not mentioned in the description. Not worth the
purchase with such limitations

One instance of Cap Equity, loaded on it's own chart, will closeall trades in your terminal toolbox trade window regardless if they are manual trades or which EA opened the trade. If you want Cap Equity EA to pause your other EAs after a triggered close then you have to instruct Cap Equity to do that. If set up correctly one instance of Cap Equity will control( disable / enable ) up to 12 other EAs (can be the same or different other EAs but only up to 12 charted EAs). If you have 8 instances of another EA running(same or different EA doesn't matter) in one terminal and you want Cap Equity to disable and enable those 8 other EAs after it closes all your trades then you need to instruct Cap Equity to locate each instance of other EAs and perform the disable and enable function on each chart. On the main overview page of the Cap Equity EA the author has a link that says " Click here to know how EA work with External EA". There you will find out how to 1) Reveal your 8 chart IDs to direct Cap Equity EA to each chart of the other EAs, and 2) learn how to create templates for each charted EA that you want Cap Equity to control (disable/enable).
Hopefully this clarifies how Cap Equity works. **** I'm only a user of Cap Equity. Thank you to the Author for creating this great EA.
I have a quick question and hope you can help me. I use your EA Equity Guard. When I start it, it says at the top under "EA Status" --> "STOP By Input". does this mean that the EA is running? Or do I have to adjust something in the settings?
Thanks in advance for a short feedback Best regards Matthias

Hi Mohammad,
Can you update the EA to record the current equity. because most of the time you load this, there are already existing trades in place.
Or have the option to enter the starting equity, this way we can always adjust it.
thanks

Hi Mohammad,
I am unable to download it, when clicking to download it is prompting to open the MT5 and then nothing happens.
Please advice, how can I get it installed on MT5.
Thanks,

Hi!
Could you add a new input for Equity Reset Type? I will be pleased if you add a third input: Next Day.
---> Equity Reset Type
1. When No Order
2. When Trigger Hit
3. Next Day
The Feature "Disable External Others EA"
External Chart ID
What is it for? is not enough just to set the Loss amount we want to close it? Any ideas friends?
When I use "close all trades" the profit close and loss close need to adjust to the new target amount
and not keep the previous target amount.
